Niat Penggunaan Layanan Internet Banking: Model Modifikasian Berdasar Karakteristik Kualitas dan Risiko

This study modifies the Internet Banking Using Intention Model based on quality and risk. This study also gives an alternative model by dimension modification specially in the quality. The second purpose of this study is to investigate of the low user’s intention problem on internet banking using. Consequently, the non-users of IB will be investigated in some analysis. The result of this study indicates the two types of quality impact to the intention. If we apply 11 dimensions of quality, there is a strong direct effect of the IB service quality to the intention. But if we apply the general perception of quality, the effect of IB service quality to the intention will be indirect by the mediating of users satisfaction. Risk is reduced by the IB service quality via mediating of users satisfaction. Risk has a low negative impact to the intention if the users recognize the IB service quality and satisfy which the services. The non-users characteristic indicates that in their perception the quality and satisfaction are more important than risk. It means that quality and satisfaction play an important role to reduce perceived risk and build intention in the internet banking context. This modified model can be used to explain the characteristics of users and non-users as potential users in their perception of internet banking.
