FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PREFERENSI PETANI TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK PRODUK STIMULAN GAS LET 200 UNTUK TANAMAN KARET

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Bagaimana perilaku petani terhadap produk stimulan gas Let-200; (2) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi petani dalam pembelian produk stimulan gas Let-200 dan (3) Bagaimana strategi penyebaran produk stimulan gas Let-200 yang efektif bagi petani. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Adanya hubungan antara harapan dan kenyataan dalam pemakaian produk stimulan gas Let-200 dan (2) Perilaku petani terhadap produk stimulan gas Let-200 dipengaruhi oleh harga, dukungan promosi, kemasan produk dan kemudahan produk diperoleh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analistis. Data dan informasi yang diperlukan diperoleh dengan cara survey dan kuesioner. Jumlah responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang yang merupakan petani yang memakai produk stimulan Let-200 di kabupaten Muara Enim, provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Metode analisis yang digunakan meliputi analisis deskriptif, analisis GAP dan Uji-t. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Aspek produk, yaitu kemudahan pemakaian, kemudahan pemasangan aplikator dan tidak merusak alur sadap sesuai dengan harapan petani; (2) Aspek tata niaga, petani sangat mengharapkan adanya bantuan atau subsidi dari pemerintah serta keringanan dalam pembayaran produk stimulan Let-200; (3) Aspek hasil, produk stimulan Let-200 relatif lebih tinggi daripada metode sadap konvensional dan (4) Masih perlu upaya peningkatan nilai lebih atribut produk stimulan gas Let-200 terhadap produk zat pengatur tumbuh tanaman karet lainnya.

Focus of this research is to know (1) How the farmer behavior to product gases stimulant Let-200; (2) Influence factors to farmer in purchasing product gases stimulant Let-200 and (3) How the effective strategy of distributing product gases stimulant Let- 200 to the farmers. The hypothesis in this research is (1) Had connection between expectation and reality in using product gases stimulant Let-200 and (2) Farmer behavior to product gases stimulant Let-200 influence by price, promotion backing, product container and easy of product obtainable. This research used descriptive analysis methods. Data and information’s of necessary reach with survey and questionnaires. Sum of respondent using in this research is 30 people/farmers, which is the farmer using product gases stimulant Let- 200 in Muara Enim district South Sumatera province. Analysis methods used descriptive analysis, GAP analysis and t-test. Aims of this research is (1) Product aspect, is easily of using, easily of applicators assemblies and innoxiously tap channel appropriate with farmers expectation; (2) Distributing aspect, the farmers needs helping presence or subsidized from the government and also dispensation in payment of product gases stimulant Let- 200; (3) Yield aspect, product gases stimulant Let-200 relatively highly from conventional tap method and (4) Need the increasing effort of added value in attribute product gases stimulant Let-200 than the other rubber plant grow regulatory substance
