EVALUASI KEPUASAN MAHASISWA DALAM PROBLEM BASED LEARNING ASUHAN KEBIDANAN KEHAMILAN DI PROGRAM STUDI KEBIDANAN PADANGSIDIMPUAN

2012 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu Kesehatan MasyarakatLatar belakang: Lulusan pendidikan bidan yang ditempatkan di fasilitas kesehatan dan desa belum memberikan konstribusi efektif terahadap percepatan penurunan angka kematian ibu dan angka kematian bayi. Pendidikan D III kebidanan dengan kurikulum berbasis kompetensi berupaya melakukan perubahan sistem pembelajaran konvensional menuju pembelajaran berbasis masalah (problem-based learning). Salah satu ciri problem-based learning (PBL) self-directed learning, diintegrasikan dalam diskusi kelompok, diaplikasikan di laboratorium dan praktek klinik pada objek nyata mewujudkan sikap profesi bidan mandiri yang mampu memberi pelayanan dalam siklus kehidupan wanita berdasarkan bukti. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan kegiatan pembelajaran yang diterapkan dosen/tutor di kelas, laboratorium, praktek klinik dan kelengkapan alat-bahan pembelajaran dengan kepuasan mahasiswa dalam asuhan kebidanan diagnosa kehamilan di Program Studi Kebidanan Padangsidimpuan. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional study. Populasi mahasiswa tingkat II reguler Program Studi Kebidanan Padangsidimpuan berjumlah 50 orang ditambah 3 orang fasilitator, seluruhnya dijadikan subjek penelitian (purposive sampling). Analisis data menggunakan chi-square, regresi logistik dengan pemodelan dan analisa kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian: Hubungan kegiatan pembelajaran yang diterapkan dosen/tutor dengan kepuasan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran asuhan kebidanan diagnosa kehamilan bermakna dengan nilai p= 0,0001; RP sebesar 9,5 (CI95%=3,75-24.01) menjelaskan kegiatan pembelajaran memiliki risiko 9,5 kali mempengaruhi kepuasan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran asuhan kebidanan diagnosa kehamilan. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan pembelajaran sesuai kriteria seven jump signifikan meningkan kepuasan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran asuhan kebidanan diagnosa kehamilan.
Background: The graduates of the midwifery education who are placed in the health facilities and villages have not given an effective contribution to speeding up of the reduction of the maternal and infant mortality. D III midwifery education with competency-based curriculum seeks to change the conventional learning system toward problem-based learning (problembased learning). One feature of problem-based learning (PBL) self-directed learning which is integrated in a discussion group and applied in the laboratory and clinical practice on the real objects creates an independent attitude of the midwives that is able to provide services in the woman life cycle based on the evidence. Objectives: To determine the relationship between the learning activities applied by the lecturers/tutors in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical practice and the completeness of learning tools and materials to the students’ satisfaction in midwifery care of diagnosis of normal/high risk pregnancy in Midwifery Study Program in Padangsidimpuan. Research methods: This study uses the method Quantitative and qualitative methods with the cross-sectional study approach. The populations of the level II regular students of Midwifery Study Program in Padangsidimpuan account for 50 persons added with three facilitators entirely became the subjects of the study (purposive sampling). The data analysis used the Chi-square, logistic regression with qualitative modeling and analysis. Research results: The relationship between the learning activities applied by the lecturers/tutors and the students’ satisfaction in learning midwifery care diagnosis of pregnancy are significant with the value of p=0.0001; RP of 9.5 (CI95% = 3.75 to 24.01) describes that the tutorial learning activities of seven jump process have 9.5 times of the risk in affecting the students’ satisfaction in learning midwifery care diagnosis of pregnancy. Conclusion: Learning activities according to the seven jump criteria significantly increase the students’ satisfaction in learning midwifery care of pregnancy diagnosis.
