FAKTOR-FAKTOR BERPENGARUH PADA PERKEMBANGAN DUKUH MANGKUBUMEN, DESA TEGALREJO SEBAGAI RINTISAN KAWASAN MINAPOLITAN DI KABUPATEN BOYOLALI

Mangkubumen Hamlet, Tegalrejo Village is the catfish center of commodities in the Boyolali Regency. The success of Mangkubumen Hamlet followed up by the government with the establishment of a Boyolali Regency as minapolitan area. Determination of the region is expected can create region independence. The purpose of this study is to attempt to describe periodic time and development Mangkubumen Hamlet, Tegalrejo Village as a pilot area in the Boyolali Regency and identify factors that influence these developments. The expected benefits is that it can be a lesson for the development of commodities in a region. The approach used in this study is a case study. Research data collection was conducted using interviews, document review and direct observation. Informants selection in this study conducted with purposive sampling (based on goals) in determining the key person and then developed with snowball sampling. Mangkubumen Hamlet developments in terms of increased production has shown success, this can be seen from the previous land use change of agricultural land into paddy and horticultural land cultivation pond. Residents who work in the aquaculture sub-sector is increasing and has even been able to spread in the surrounding villages. In an effort to increase the value-added products, in Mangkubumen Hamlet not only sells fresh catfish but already there are some catfish processing into mainstay products. Even now refined products in the form of shredded catfish and crispy chips have been able to penetrate the modern retail market. Dominant factor affecting the development of Mangkubumen Hamlet as a pioneer area of minapolitan is the quality of human resources and supported the suitability of land for cultivation. On the other side of the market demand is still high and a partnership between farmers and traders of mutual benefit and support road infrastructure that facilitates accessibility region also plays a role in the success. Considering the forward linkages (input) and backward linkages (output) is very broad from Minapolitan development, it needs to be developed with the development of upstream and downstream industries in the minapolitan area. Therefore, in supporting the sustainability of the development of the minapolitan area necessary institutional reform on farmers and other supporting facilities.
