PERLAWANAN WIJI THUKUL TERHADAP HEGEMONI REZIM ORDE BARU TAHUN 1986-1997

Tulisan ini menggali tentang perlawanan Wiji Thukul melawan hegemoni rezim Orde Baru melalui puisi dan aktivitas sosial politiknya. Tulisan ini didasari karena selama ini kajian tentang Wiji Thukul lebih banyak ditinjau dari perspektif sastra. Proses penciptaan puisi-puisi Wiji Thukul dan proses belajarnya (faktor sosio historis) hingga dapat merekam realitas masyarakat bawah serta aktivitas sosial politiknya belum banyak ditulis. Selain itu perlawanan Wiji Thukul terhadap hegemoni rezim Orde Baru baik melalui puisi dan aktivitas sosial politiknya belum mendapatkan tempat dalam historiografi Indonesia. Untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang permasalahan ini diperlukan metode sejarah kritis serta penggunaan sumber primer maupun sekunder, seperti: kumpulan puisi Wiji Thukul, video rekaman pementasan puisi Wiji Thukul, surat kabar, majalah, jurnal, wawancara mendalam, serta telaah referensi yang relevan. pengalaman hidup bersama kaum miskin Dalam penelitian ini penulis menemukan bahwa latar belakang kehidupan, dan tertindas serta kebijakan rezim Orde Baru yang represif merupakan faktor yang mendorong perlawanan Wiji Thukul terhadap hegemoni rezim Orde Baru melalui puisi dan aktivitas sosial politiknya tahun 1986-1997. yang diperoleh Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu: terdapat relevansi yang erat antara kehidupan Wiji Thukul dengan karya puisi-puisi yang ditulisnya serta aktivitas sosial politiknya. Puisi bagi Wiji Thukul tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat untuk menyampaikan permasalahan rakyat yang tertindas, tetapi juga melawan hegemoni rezim Orde Baru. Puisi Wiji Thukul mengalami perkembangan yang mencolok pada tahun 1986 yaitu mulai memperlihatkan perlawanan terhadap rezim Orde Baru. Puisipuisi Wiji Thukul dalam masa pelarian tahun 1996-1997 semakin keras dan konfrontasional. Puisi-puisi Wiji Thukul mencerminkan realita politik, sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat terutama rakyat kecil yang tertindas di bawah hegemoni rezim Orde Baru. Perlawanan Wiji Thukul baik melalui puisi maupun aktivitas sosial politiknya penuh dengan rintangan dan tekanan dari rezim Orde Baru, seperti intimidasi, penggeledahan paksa, kekerasan fisik, dan bahkan praktik penghilangan orang.

This paper dig about Wiji‟s resistance against the hegemony of the New Order regime through political poem and social activities. This paper is based because during of this study is more Wiji‟s viewed from the perspective of literature. The process of creating Wiji Thukul Poems and learning process (socio-historical factors) to be able to record the reality of grassroots social and political activity has not been written. In addition Wiji‟s resistance to hegemony of the New Order regime either through poetry and sociopolitical activities have not gotten a place in the historiography of Indonesia. To get an idea about this problem required a critical historical methods and the use of primary and secondary sources, such as: a collection of Wiji‟s poems, video recordings Wiji‟s staging poem, newspapers, magazines, journals, interviews, and review of relevant references. In this study the authors found that the background of life, the experience of living with the poor and the oppressed and the policy of the repressive New Order regime is a factor that encourages Wiji resistance against the hegemony of the New Order regime through poem and sociopolitical activities in 1986-1997. Conclusions obtained from this study are: there is a close relevance between Wiji‟s life with the work of the poems he wrote as well as socio-political activity. Poem for Wiji is not only serves as a means to convey the problems of the oppressed, but also a tool to counter the hegemony of the New Order regime. Wiji‟s Poems experiencing significant growth in 1986 is starting to show resistance to the New Order regime. Wiji‟s Poems breakout the year in the period 1996-1997 grew louder and confrontational. Wiji‟s poems reflect the realities of political, social and economic community, especially the small people who are oppressed under the hegemony of the New Order regime. Wiji‟s resistance either through poetry or sociopolitical activity full of obstacles and pressures of the New Order regime, such as intimidation, raids force, physical violence, and even the practice of disappearance.
