RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM PENGIRIS (SLICER) KERIPIK PISANG DENGAN PENDEKATAN METODE QUALITY FUNCTION OF DEPLOYMEN (QFD)

motor listrik ¼ Potensi pertanian di Propinsi Riau terutama kota Pekanbaru dari sektor pertanian yaitu buah pisang sangat menjanjikan. Tercatat hasil buah pisang propinsi Riau sebanyak 31.594 ton pada tahun 2009. Hal ini mendorong dijadikannya usaha keripik pisang menjadi fokus dari komoditi buah pisang di Propinsi Riau. Untuk mendukung hal itu peran teknologi yaitu alat perajang yang dapat memberikan kemudahan dan keuntungan bagi pengusaha sangat penting. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini akan membahas perancangan alat perajang/slicer dengan menggunakan metode Quality Function of Deployment (QFD). Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh spesifikasi rancangan alat: penggerak HP, bodi alat (hooper, tutup atas, dan tutup bawah) terbuat dari bahan aluminium, corong input stenless steel, mata pisau berbahan baja dengan ketebalan 1,5-2 mm. Memiliki kapasitas produksi 40 kg/jam, dapat merajang pisang, ubi, kentang, bawang, serta perajangan bisa horizontal dan vertikal. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai kelayakan benefit Cost Ratio yaitu 1,29, sehingga dapat dianalisis usaha yang menggunakan alat hasil rancangan ini dapat dinyatakan kelayakannya.

Agricultural potential in the field of banana commodity, in Riau province especially Pekanbaru city is very promising. It is recorded in Riau province that the results of banana production as much as 31,594 tons by the year of 2009. This made an influence to the production of banana chips as the focus of business of this commodity in the province of Riau. To response this condition, the availability of technology especially a slicer unit that can provide convenience and advantage for manufacture is very important. Therefore, this research will discuss about the designing process of the Slicer by using the method of Quality Function Deployment (QFD). As The result,a specifications of tool design was obtained, which consist of: ¼ HP electric motor drive, the tool body (Hooper,top cover, bottom cover is made from aluminum, input shaft is made of stainless steel, the blade is made of steel with a thickness of 1.5 to 2 mm. It has a production capacity of 40 kg / hour, has a capability of slicing bananas, yams, potatoes, onions both horizontally and vertically. Values obtained from the calculation of benefit eligibility Cost Ratio is 1.29, it means that the business using the results of this design tool can be analyzed from the level of feasibility.
