HUBUNGAN PERAN PETUGAS KESEHATAN, TOKOH MASYARAKAT DAN PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT (D/S) DALAM PELAKSANAAN POSYANDU DI KABUPATEN PANDEGLANG PROPINSI BANTEN

Latar Belakang. Pada setiap posyandu yang berjalan lancar dan teratur selalu ada tokoh yang merupakan motor penggerak posyandu baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Dukungan puskesmas dan bidan desa merupakan motivasi yang penting bagi kader dan masyarakat. Rendahnya peran petugas kesehatan dan tokoh masyarakat menyebabkan partisipasi masyarakat (D/S) di posyandu di Kabupaten Pandeglang belum tercapai secara optimal yaitu rata-rata hanya 58% dari target 80%. Tujuan Penelitian. Untuk mengetahui Hubungan Peran Petugas Kesehatan, Tokoh Masyarakat dan Partisipasi Masyarakat (D/S) serta faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat dalam pelaksanaan posyandu di Kabupaten Pandeglang. Metode Penelitian. Jenis penelitian adalah analitik, menggunakan rancangan cross sectional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam. Penelitian dilaksanakan di posyandu wilayah kerja Puskesmas Cadasari, Majasari dan Labuan. Sampel penelitian kuantitatif adalah posyandu dengan responden ketua kader dan kualitatif adalah kader. Variabel yang diteliti peran petugas kesehatan, peran tokoh masyarakat, partisipasi masyarakat (D/S), pengetahuan kader, pendidikan kader, pelatihan kader, dan sarana.. Instrumen penelitian adalah kuesioner. Analisis data univariat, bivariat menggunakan Chi-square dan multivariat menggunakan regresi logistik. Hasil : Ada Hubungan antara Peran Petugas Kesehatan dengan Partisipasi masyarakat (D/S) (p 0,000< α 0,05), Ada Hubungan antara Peran Tokoh Masyarakat dengan Partisipasi Masyarakat (D/S) (p 0,009 < α 0,05) dan faktor yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap partisipasi masyarakat adalah peran tokoh masyarakat (p 0,008 < α 0,05). Kesimpulan : Peran aktif petugas kesehatan dan tokoh masyarakat di butuhkan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pelaksanaan posyandu. Faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat adalah peran tokoh masyarakat. Petugas kesehatan melakukan diskusi rutin dengan tokoh masyarakat untuk meningkatkan peran tokoh masyarakat.

Background: In each posyandu with progress and routine activity there is always the figure which is mover motor of the posyandu both directly and indirectly. The support from PHC and village midwifes is important motivation for the cadres and community. The low of role of health officials and community figure cause the community participation (D/S) in posyandu in Pandeglang Regency was not optimally achieved yet that was average only 58% compared to the target at 80%. Objectives: To knowing the correlation between the role of health officials, community figure to community participation (D/S) and the most dominant factors that influenced the community participation in the activity in posyandu in Pandeglang Regency. Methods: This was analytic study used cross sectional design by quantitative and qualitative approach with in depth interview. The study was performed in posyandu in the work area of Cadasari PHC, Majasari PHC and Labuan PHC. The sample of quantitative study was posyandu with the respondent was the head cadre and for qualitative approach was the cadre. The studied variables was the role of health officials, community figure, community participation (D/S), cadre’s knowledge, cadre’s education background, cadre’s training background, and infrastructure. The instrument of the study was questionnaire. Data was analyzed by univariate analysis, bivariate analysis used Chi Square test, and multivariate analysis used multiple logistic regression. Results: There was significant correlation between the role of Health Officials to the community participation (D/S) (p=0.000< 0.05). There was significant correlation between the role of community figure to the community participation (D/S) (p=0.009< 0.05) and the factor with most dominant influence to the community participation was the role of community figure (p=0.008<0.05). Conclusion: The active role of health officials and community figure was needed to increase the community participation in the activity in posyandu. The factor with most dominant influence to the community participation was the role of community figure. The health officials arrange routine discussion to the community figure to increase the role of community figure.
