Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and task performance (individual level) are two types of individual performance that are critical to organizational success. This study is aimed at finding out a model of task performance theory; especially a theory which strengthens OCB as an ethical behavior having a great influence on the task performance. The researcher assumes that spiritual leadership is an important predictor of individual performance through open organizational culture and the climate of work spirituality; spiritual leadership has a positive effect on the climate of work spirituality with mediation of open organizational culture. The hypothesis of this study states: A theoretical model describing the relationship of work unit level variables consisting of spiritual leadership, open organizational culture, climate of work spirituality, and individual level variables consisting of OCB and task performance has goodness of fit. Data was collected from 24 work units in a large company in Jakarta that supported spiritual values. Each work unit was represented by subjects that varied from 5-27. The total number of subject was 430. Using SEM analysis, the researcher found a suitable measurement model, but with a change of constructs in 4 variables, except that of task performance. The problem in this study was multilevel modeling, but intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC) of the data showed that there was homogeneity among work units within each variable component (ICC ≤ 0.1). Therefore, a multilevel analysis was not required. Hypothesis testing was done using single-level SEM techniques, and the result showed that the hypothesis of this study was accepted
