Penulisan tesis ini bertujuan untukmenganalisispengaruhkarakteristikpemberipersetujuantindakanbedahdanaks esinformasiterhadappemahaman PTM di BadanPelayananKesehatan RSU ProvinsiKendaritahun 2010. Penelitianiniberbentuk survey explanatory, yaitujenispenelitian survey yang bertujuanmenjelaskanpengaruhvariabel-variabelmelaluipengujianhipotesa, yaknipengaruhvariabelkarakteristikpemberipersetujuandanaksesinformasiterhadap tingkatpemahamanPersetujuanTindakanMedik di RumahSakitUmumProvinsiKendari.Penelitianinidilaksanakan di RSU ProvinsiKendari yang merupakanrumahsakitmilikpemerintahdaerah, menjadipusatrujukanpelayanankesehatan,sertarumahsakitpendidikan.Pelaksanaan penelitianpadabulanNovember–Desembertahun 2010. Jumlahsampelyang diambil sebanyak 70 orang. Teknikanalisa data menggunakanujiregresibergandadengantingkatkepercayaan α = 0,05,untukmengetahuipengaruhkarakteristikpemberipersetujuantindakanbedah (umur,tingkatpendidikan, suku, pekerjaan) danaksesinformasi (sumberinformasi,kelengkapan, bahasapenyampaian, waktupenyampaian) terhadappemahamantentangPersetujuanTindakanMedis di RSU ProvinsiKendari. Faktor yang signifikan mempengaruhitingkatpemahamanpemberipersetujuantentang PTM adalahkelengkapaninformasi.Hasilanalisismenunjukkanbahwa R square 0,222, halinimenunjukkanvariabelkelengkapaninformasidapatmemberikanpengaruhterha daptingkatpemahamanpemberipersetujuantentang PTM sebesar 22,2persen. Sedangkan variabel lain yakni: umur,tingkatpendidikan, suku, pekerjaan, sumber informasi, bahasa penyampaian, waktu penyampaian tidak signifikan mempengaruhi pemahamantentangPersetujuanTindakanMedis di RSU ProvinsiKendari.

This thesis aims to analyze the influence of the characteristics of approver surgery and access information to the understanding of PTM on the Agency for Health Care Kendari Provincial General Hospital in 2010. Explanatory survey research is shaped, ie the type of research surveyaims to explain the influence of these variables through hypothesis testing, namely the influence of variable characteristics of the approver and access information on the level of understanding of informed consent in Kendari Provincial General Hospital. The research was conducted at the Provincial Hospital is a hospital that belongs to local governments, the health care referral center and teaching hospital. Research held on November-December 2010. The number of samples taken as many as 70 people. Analysis of data using multiple regression test with confidence level α = 0.05,to determine the effect of surgical consent giver characteristics (age, education level, ethnicity, employment) and access to information (sources of information, completeness, language of delivery, delivery time) to the understanding of the Agreement on General Hospital Kendari. Significant factor influencing the level of understanding about the PTM approver is completeness of the information. The analysis showed that the R square 0.222, this shows the completeness of the information variables can impact the level of understanding about the PTM approver of 22.2 percent. While other variables such as: age, education level, ethnicity, occupation, sources of information, language of delivery, delivery time does not significantly affect the understanding of the approval action at the General HospitalKendari.
