KONFLIK SOSIAL DALAM PERANG BUBAT VERSI LANGIT KRESNA HARIADI DAN AAN MERDEKA PERMANA: KAJIAN SOSIOLOGI SASTRA

Masalah utama penelitian ini adalah konflik sosial dalam Perang Bubat yang terdapat pada karya sastra dilihat melalui versi novel GMPB dan novel PB dengan tiga rumusan masalah, yaitu (1) konteks sosio-kultural penciptaan novel GMPB dan novel PB, (2) novel GMPB dan novel PB sebagai produk sosialbudaya, dan sebagai produk imajinasi, (3) konflik sosial dalam Perang Bubat yang terdapat dalam novel GMPB dan novel PB. Ketiga rumusan masalah tersebut dianalisis dengan teori sosiologi sastra, dan dibantu oleh teori konflik sosial, teori sastra banding, dan konsep pemaknaan, sehingga ditetapkan tujuan penelitian baik secara teoritis maupun praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua metode, yaitu metode pengumpulan data melalui metode penelitian kepustakaan dan metode analisis data yang merupakan penerapan dari teori sosiologi sastra dengan dibantu sastra banding sebagai metode banding, dan dengan memanfaatkan konsep pemaknaan untuk memaknai. Langkah-langkah dalam penelitian ini diawali metode kerja pendekatan sosiologi sastra, dilanjutkan dengan perbandingan, yaitu membandingkan konflik-konflik sosial dalam Perang Bubat yang terdapat dalam versi novel GMPB dan novel PB, serta diakhiri dengan pemaknaan. Hasil penelitian yang disusun dalam tesis ini menunjukkan bahwa pertama, penciptaan novel GMPB dan novel PB berdasarkan perbedaan latar sosio-kultur pengarang dan sosio-kultur masyarakat tempat penciptaan novel telah menghasilkan novel dengan teks konflik sosial yang berbeda dalam Perang Bubat. Kedua, hasil analisis perbandingan konflik sosial dalam Perang Bubat antara novel GMPB dengan novel PB, ditemukan empat peristiwa konflik sosial yang sama sebagai pemicu terjadinya Perang Bubat, yaitu konflik percintaan; konflik Amukti Palapa di kalangan Kerajaan Majapahit; konflik pernikahan Sekar Kedaton; dan puncak konflik antara Kerajaan Majapahit dengan Kerajaan Sunda. Adapun peristiwa konflik sosial yang berbeda hanya ditemukan pada konflik pertanggungjawaban terjadinya Perang Bubat yang terdapat dalam novel PB. Selanjutnya, dalam dinamika konflik sosial Perang Bubat pada masing-masing versi novel, sampai pada tahap krisis mempunyai persamaan. Perbedaan dinamika konflik terjadi pada tahap akibat konflik dan pascakonflik. Demikian pula Sumber-sumber penyebab dan strategi penyelesaian konflik sosial dalam Perang Bubat yang digunakan oleh masing-masing versi terdapat persamaan dan perbedaannya. Ketiga, berdasarkan perbandingan tersebut maka ditemukan makna konflik sosial yang berbeda dari masing-masing versi novelnya, novel GMPB dan novel PB.

The main problem of this research is social conflict in the Perang Bubat contained in the literature seen through version of novel GMPB and the novel PB with three formulation of the problem, namely (1) socio-cultural context creation of novel GMPB and novel PB, (2) novel GMPB and novel PB as a socio-cultural products, and as a product of imagination, (3) social conflict in the Perang Bubat contained in the novel GMPB and the novel PB. The third formulation of the problem is analyzed with the theory of sociology of literature, and helped by social conflict theory, the theory of comparative literature, and meaning consept, so defined research goals, both theoretical and practical. This study used two methods, namely methods of collecting data through library research methods and methods of data analysis is the application of sociological of literature theory with the help of literary appeal as a method of appeal, and by making use of meaning consept to make sense. The steps in this study starts the working methods of sociological literature approaches, followed by comparison, namely comparing the social konflicts in the Perang Bubat contained in the version of the novel GMPB and the novel PB, and ends with a conjecture. Based on the results of the analysis conducted, conclusions obtained as follows. First, the creation of novel GMPB and novel PB based on differences in socio-culture author and socio-cultural communities where the creation of novel has produced a novel with the different text of social conflicts in the Perang Bubat. Second, the results of comparative analysis of social conflict in the Perang Bubat between the novel GMPB and novel PB, there were found four the same events of social conflict that triggers the Perang Bubat, namely conflict of romance; conflict of Amukti Palapa among the Majapahit Kingdom; conflict of Sekar Kedaton marital; and climax between the Sunda and Majapahit kindom. While the different events of this social conflicts, was found only on conflicts of accountability of the Perang Bubat. Furthermore, the dynamics of social conflict of the Perang Bubat on each version of the novel, till the stage of crisis has similarities. While the differences of dynamics of conflict occur in the conflict and post-conflict phase. Similarly, there are similarities and differences on the causes and sources of social conflict resolution strategies used by each version in the Perang Bubat. Third, based on the comparison there was found the meaning of social conflict that was different from each version of novel GMPB and novel PB.
