ALAT BANTU IDENTIFIKASI ANAK TUNAGRAHITA BERBASIS WEB

Kadang orang tua atau orang yang dekat dengan anak tunagrahita mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami kepribadian Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK), sehingga kurang tepat dalam memberikan pendidikan dan perawatan pada anak tersebut. Salah satu ABK yang kurang kelihatan kelemahannya adalah tunagrahita. Sebenarnya anak tunagrahita masih bisa mengoptimalkan potensinya bila didik di sekolah yang tepat, baik di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) maupun sekolah biasa, serta dirawat sesuai dengan penanganan yang baik. Identifikasi anak tunagrahita terutama saat awal masuk sekolah sangat diperlukan untuk menunjang pengambilan keputusan dalam hal memberikan pendidikan maupun perawatan yang terbaik bagi anak tersebut. Sistem pakar berbasis web yang dibangun dengan PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) dan software-software pendukung lainnya berusaha untuk mewujudkan alat bantu identifikasi dengan hasil yang lebih cepat daripada identifikasi secara manual. Sumber datanya berasal dari soal tes CPM (Coloured Progressive Matrices) dan berbagai karakteristik anak tunagrahita sehari-hari. Keluaran (output) dari alat ini diharapkan bisa digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat kecerdasan berupa skor IQ (Intelligence Quotient) dan golongan anak tunagrahita secara cepat dan mendekati akurat. Selanjutnya keluaran tersebut bisa berkembang menjadi bahan pertimbangan untuk memberikan rekomendasi tentang pendidikan maupun perawatan yang tepat bagi anak tunagrahita di sekolah, panti, atau di rumah.

Sometimes parents or people who close to mentally retarded children is difficult to understand the personality of Children with Special Needs (CSN), so it less appropriate to provide education and care of the child. One of the CSN who less visible weakness is mentally retarded. Actually, mentally retarded child can still optimize their potential if they study at the school, both in the Special School or Regular Schools, and give treatment accordance with good handling. The identification of mentally retarded children especially during the early school entry are needed to support decision making in terms of providing the best education and care for the child. Web-based expert system built with PHP and other supporting software tools attempt to achieve identification with the results faster than manual identification. Sources of test data derived from CPM (Coloured Progressive Matrices) and various characteristics of mentally retarded children daily. The output of the tool is expected to be used to determine the level of intelligence in the form of a score of IQ (Intelligence Quotient) and classifications of mentally retarded children rapidly and accurately. Furthermore, these outputs could develop into consideration to make recommendations on education and proper care for mentally retarded children at school, home, or at care house.
