Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengevaluasi penerapan strategi pengadaan barang, dengan membandingkan kegiatan pengadaan barang kebutuhan pemeliharaan peralatan fasilitas lepas pantai di North Business Unit CNOOC SES Ltd selama periode tahun 2009 dengan manual pengadaan barang yang berlaku di CNOOC SES, Ltd. berdasarkan harga suku cadang, waktu penyerahan yang dibutuhkan untuk suku cadang, tingkat kepentingan suku cadang dan frekuensi kebutuhan selama 1 tahun, yang dikembangkan dengan kriteria, Business Impact and Value, Supplier Positioning, Market Complexity and Value, Supplier Relationship Strategy.

The aim of this research is to evaluate procurement strategy’s implementation by comparing supply activity for offshore equipment maintenance at North Business Unit, CNOOC.SES.LTD in 2009 with the CNOOC.SES.LTD standard procurement manual. This standard procurement manual is consist of spare parts’ price, spare parts’ delivery time, spare parts’ importance and frequency required in 1 year, which will be customized with the standard procurement strategy in CNOOC.SES.LTD, specifically in North Business Unit, and is developed furthermore with criteria : Business Impact and Value, Supplier Positioning, Market Complexity and Value, Supplier Relationship Strategy.
