Hubungan Antara Implementasi Corporate Social Responsibility Dengan Kinerja Perusahaan Studi Terhadap Perusahaan Yang lIsted di Bursa Efek Indonesia Sejak Tahun 2006-2008

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara implementasi Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dengan kinerja perusahaan. Implementasi CSR yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan merujuk pada standar aktivitas yang dikeluarkan oleh Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Sedangkan kinerja perusahaan digunakan parameter Return on Assets (ROA), Net Profit Margin (NPM) dan Total Assets Turn Over (TATO). Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Jakarta tahun 2006-2008, menggunakan data pengungkapan sosial yang terdapat dalam laporan tahunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji korelasi untuk mengetahui hubungan antara implementasi CSR dengan kinerja perusahaan dan regresi berganda guna menguji lebih lanjut apakah kinerja keuangan mempengaruhi implementasi CSR. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa implementasi CSR yang memiliki hubungan terhadap rasio profitabilitas adalah implementasi pada ekonomi, perilaku tenaga kerja dan tanggung jawab produk. Ketiga implementasi tersebut memiliki hubungan yang positif terhadap rasio ROA. Implementasi CSR yang paling banyak diterapkan oleh masingmasing sektor adalah pada perilaku tenaga kerja dan lingkungan. Profil perusahaan memiliki hubungan dan pengaruh terhadap laporan CSR, tetapi hubungan tersebut bersifat negatif.

The thesis is focus on finding relation between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and company’s performance. The CSR implementation applied is refer to Global Reporting Initiative Index. Other than, the Company’s performance is reflected by Return on Assets (ROA), Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Total Assets Turn Over (TATO) This thesis use companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2006- 2008, use sustainability report presented in annual report. This thesis use correlation examination to get understanding of the relationship between CSR implementation and company’s performance. In addition, to get more understanding, this thesis use double regression to examine company’s performance influences to CSR. From the examination, it is found that CSR which have relationship with company’s performance are economic activity, employee conduct, and product responsibility. These implementations have positive relationship with ROA. In addition, it is found that employees conduct and environment are the most activities done by companies. It also found that company’s profiles has relationship and influences to CSR implementations. But this relationship has negative relationship.
