ANALISIS STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN AGRO INDUSTRI JAGUNG (Zea mays L) BERBASIS PENGEMBANGAN PRODUK (Studi kasus PT. Ade Agro Industri, Kabupaten Sumba Timur, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur)

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kondisi umum pengolahan jagung, analisis besarnya nilai tambah, analisis kelayakan finansial dan analisis strategi pengembangan agroindustri jagung berbasis pengembangan produk dengan menggunakan metode analisis studi kasus berupa analisis deskriptif (kuantitatif dan kualitatif). Analisis yang dilakukan meliputi analisis profitabilitas, nilai tambah, kelayakan finansial dan SWOT. Hasil analisis menunjukkan total pendapatan per tahun sebesar Rp 85.396.147 dengan nilai R/C ratio 1,17. Nilai tambah produk jagung pipil kering sebesar Rp. 314,13 per kg dan rasio nilai tambah sebesar 0,18 %. BEP dalam rupiah sebesar Rp. 438.280.187 dan BEP dalam unit sebesar 115.717 kg. Profitabilitas sebesar 14,23 % menunjukkan tingkat keuntungan tergolong rendah. Analisis kelayakan finansial meliputi PBP, NPV, IRR, Net B/C Ratio, ROI dan PI menunjukkan usaha jagung pipil kering layak dikembangkan namun kemampuan menghasilkan laba rendah. Analisis terhadap produk bioetanol menunjukkan total pendapatan per tahun sebesar Rp. 1.730.829.880 dan R/C Ratio sebesar 2,36. Nilai Tambah produk sebesar Rp. 5.752 per liter dan rasio nilai tambah sebesar 71,91 %. BEP dalam rupiah produk bioetanol sebesar Rp. 598.857.604, dan BEP dalam unit adalah 21.584 liter. Profitabilitas 57,69 menunjukkan kemampuan mendatangkan keuntungan. Analisis kelayakan finansial meliputi PBP, NPV, IRR, Net B/C Ratio, ROI dan PI menunjukkan usaha produksi bioetanol layak dikembangkan karena sangat prospektif. Alternatif kebijakan pengembangan usaha dilakukan dengan pengembangan produk, produksi dan kemitraan/kelembagaan usaha dan implementasi program yaitu pengembangan produk bioetanol, peningkatan produksi, pengembangan kemitraan usaha bersama.

The objectives of this study are as follow: (1) to analyze the general conditions of corn industry, (2) to analyze the amount of value added, (3) to analyze the financial feasibility and (4) to analyze the strategy of of agro-industry based on corn product development using the case study analysis through descriptive analysis (both quantitative andqualitative). The analysis was divided into profitability analysis, value added,financial feasibility and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the total revenue per annum is Rp 85,396,147 with the R /C ratio is 1.17. Added value produced of morsel corn products is Rp 314.13 per kg and added value ratio is 0.18%. BEP in rupiah is Rp 438,280,187.48 and BEP in units is 115,716.99 kg. Profitability obtained is 14.23%, shows that the level of profits produced is low. Financial feasibility analysis using investment criteria produce PBP, NPV, IRR, Net B/C ratio and PI shows that the business of corn shelled is feasible to develop but the ability to produce investment returns are low. Analysis results of bioethanol product show that the total revenue per annum is Rp 1,730,829,880 and the R / C ratio is 2.36. Added value produced is Rp 5,752 per liter and added value ratio is 71.91%. BEP in Rupiah of bioethanol product is Rp 598,857,604 and BEP in units is 21,584 liter. Profitability value is 57.69%, shows that the ability to get profit. Financial feasibility analysis using investment criteria produce PBP, NPV, IRR, Net B/C ratio, ROI and PI shows that the business of bioethanol product is feasible and acceptable to be developed as a very prospective product. Business development policies alternative is conducted by product development sector, production, and business / institution partnerships with program implementation that is bioethanol product development, production increasing, and joint business partnership development.
