Rhizophora mucronata is a mangrove species that commonly used for the rehabilitation of mangrove areas. One of the benefits of environmental condition produced by the implementation with Rhizophora mucronata rehabilitation is the absorption and storage of atmospheric carbon (C - Sequestration). The environmental benefit can be used as a reference in evaluating the potential measurement of mangrove rehabilitation. The problem is to estimate the environmental benefits of C - sequestration by the vegetation of Rhizophora mucronata quickly, easily, inexpensively, accurately and has a reliable capability, and without damaging the results of rehabilitation which is recently not available, mainly located in Indonesia, especially Jepara. The aims of this studied to solve the rehabilitation problem with Rhizophora mucronata related to: 1) the stand volume potential, 2) The equation model of stand volume potential; 3) The stand biomass potential, 4) the potential model of stand biomass; 5) The storage potential of stand c-organic, 6) the potential equation model of stand C-organic storage; 7) The absorption potential of stand CO2; 8) the potential equation model of stand CO2 absorption. Based on this research, the equation model possibly used to estimate the volume potential, biomass, c-organic storage and CO2 absorption by the Rhizophora mucronata stand as the mangrove products is the power model (rank): 1) VSP = 4,751(10-4)D2,345 (m3/tree), 2) WP = 2,066D1,108 (kg/tree), 3) CP = 1,294D1,133 (kg/tree), and 4) CO2P = 4,749D1,133 (kg/tree). The results showed that the volume of Rhizophora mucronata stand stems in the Teluk Awur is 54,24 m3/ha, he potential of stand biomass are 43,19 tons/ha, the C-organic storages by stans are 27,97 tonsC/ha and the potential of CO2 absorption by stands are 105,27 tonsCO2/ha.
