PENGARUH FAKTOR SOSIAL EKONOMI TERHADAP ADOPSI INOVASI SYSTEM OF RICE INTENSIFICATION PADI SAWAH DI DAERAH MALIANA TIMOR-LESTE

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui Pengaruh Faktor Sosial Ekonomi Terhadap Adopsi Inovasi Sistem SRI (System Of Rice Intensification) padi sawah di daerah Maliana Timor-Leste, 2) Mengetahui Pengaruh Adopsi Inovasi Sistem SRI (System Of Rice Intensification) padi sawah Terhadap Produksi di daerah Maliana Timor-Leste. Metode dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif, dengan kuantitatif. Metode pengambilan sampel secara porposive dan acak sederhana dengan total sampel sebesar 120 sampel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam peneltian ini adalah: 1) teknik penentuan skor, 2) uji validitas menggunakan korelasi Pearson, 3) uji reliabilitas dengan metode Cronbach Alpha, 4) uji normalitas, dengan model P-P plot, 5) uji hipotesis, untuk hipotesis pertama menggunakan korelasi regresi liner berganda, untuk hipotesis kedua yaitu menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Untuk uji hipotesis pertama. Hasil uji regresi secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa variabel motivasi, partisipasi, pendidikan non formal dan luas kepemilikan lahan dengan model Backward (model 4) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap adopsi inovasi sistem SRI. Hasil uji secara parsial bahwa ke empat variabel yaitu motivasi, partisipasi, pendidikan non formal dan luas kepemilikan lahan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap adopsi inovasi sistem SRI padi sawah. Dengan demikian bahwa semakin tinggi motivasi petani, akan semakin baik petani mengadopsi inovasi sistem SRI, semakin tinggi partisipasi petani, maka akan semakin tinggi adopsi inovasi sistem SRI, semakin baik pendidikan non formal petani dalam mengikuti penyuluhan dan pelatihan, maka semakin baik mengadopsi inovasi sistem SRI, dan semakin memiliki luas lahan bagi petani, maka akan semakin tinggi mengadopsi inovasi sistem SRI. Kedua, hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa adopsi inovasi sistem SRI berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi padi sawah.

The aimed of this research was 1) To know the Influence of Social Economy to Adoption Innovation System Of Rice Intensification Paddy in Maliana Area of Timor-Leste, 2) To know the influence of the Adoption Innovation System Of Rice Intensification (SRI) to Production in Maliana Area Timor-Leste. The research basic method is analytical descriptive to the procedural solving problem to reality observed with an analytical quantitative approaches. The method samples used are purposive sampling and simple random sampling. The total sample is 120 respondents as sample representative. The analytical data used of this research were 1) scoring technical, 2) validity test, 3) reliability test, 4) normality test with P-P plot model, 5) hypothesis tests, multiple regression correlation ( use for first hypothesis), and simple regression (use for second hypothesis). The first hypothesis used multiple regression correlation. The result of the regression as simultaneously was showed those variables: motivation, participation, non formal education and width of own lands with backward model (model 4) influence positive and significantly to the adoption innovation system SRI paddy. The partial analysis result showed that the four variables are significantly influence to the adoption innovation system SRI paddy. That mean that the motivation of the farmers are increasing, so will be increased adoption innovation SRI, the participation of the farmers are increasing, so will be increased adoption innovation SRI, the non formal education of the farmers are increasing, so will be increased adoption innovation SRI, and width of own lands are increasing, so will be increased adoption innovation SRI. Second hypothesis, the result of the analysis showed that adoption innovation system SRI paddy is significant influence to the paddy production.
