Godai Aku Lagi Agnes Monica adalah salah satu video musik yang memperagakan kompleksitas penampilan tubuh. Hal ini mengindikasikan produksi makna-makna dalam sistem representasi video musik, di samping elemen lirik lagu, ditopang oleh praktik-praktik penandaan tubuh yang berpotensi mengonstruksi ideologi gender. Mengingat video musik sebelumnya cenderung dikonstruksi ideologi patriarki, penelitian ini hendak memeriksa sejauh mana signifikasi tubuh berperan dalam memproduksi makna-makna ideologis, terutama dalam pembentukan identitas gender. Terdapat dua karakteristik tubuh yang utama, yakni laki-laki dan perempuan. Praktik penandaan tubuh ini berelasi dengan lirik lagu dan elemen-elemen visual lainnya. Signifikasi tubuh perempuan tampak sebagai resistensi terhadap tubuh laki-laki. Meskipun demikian, tanda-tanda yang dimanfaatkan untuk mencitrakan tubuh perempuan cenderung bersifat jahat. Dalam penelitian ini, untuk memperjelas sistem representasi video musik Godai Aku Lagi yang menonjolkan signifikasi tubuh ini, saya menganalisis konstruksi ideologi gender yang berperan memproduksi mitos dalam dua tatanan penandaan video musik Agnes Monica melalui pendekatan semiotika mitos dari Roland Barthes (1983). Berdasarkan penelitian ini, saya menemukan data bahwa meskipun resistensi perempuan terhadap dominasi seksual laki-laki tampak dari konfrontasi tubuh yang dimenangkan perempuan, namun, pencitraan tubuh perempuan sangat sarat dengan nilai-nilai negatif, seperti makna-makna yang cenderung merujuk sensual, gelap dan jahat (beracun). Konotasi tubuh perempuan yang sensual dan beracun mengindikasikan berperannya mitos perempuan ular dalam konstruksi ideologis video musik Godai Aku Lagi. Makna-makna ideologi patriarki mengorganisasikan struktur perbedaan gender untuk menggabungkan oposisi-oposisi makna tubuh yang dibangun dari pertentangan antat signifikasi tubuh laki-laki dan perempuan, seperti kedewasaan perempuan dan pria kekanak-kanakkan, keperkasaan perempuan dan kelemahan laki-laki.

Tease me again is one of Agnes Monica’s music videos that demonstrate the complexity of the body appearance. This indicates the production of meanings in the music video representation system, in addition to elements of song lyrics, supported by the practicals of body signification that potentially construct a gender ideology. Considering the previous music videos tend to be constructed in a patriarchal ideology, this study would examine the extent to which the signification of body play a role in producing ideological meanings, especially in forming gender identities. There are two main characteristics of the body, namely men and women. This practical of the signifying body relates to the lyrics of songs and other visual elements. Signification of the female body appears as a resistance against the male body. Nevertheless, the signs are used to image the female body tends to be dark and bad. In this study, to clarify the music video representation system Tease Me Again that show the signification of body, I analyze the construction of gender ideologies that play in producing the myth of two arrangements of signifying practice in Agnes Monica’s music video through analytical approach to the myth by Roland Barthes (1983). Based on this research, I found the data that despite the women resistance against male sexual domination in the body confrontation seemed won by the female body, however, imaging of the female body is laden with negative values, such as the meanings that tend to refer to sensuality, dark and bad (toxic). The sensual and poisonous connotations to women's bodies indicate that the myth of poisonous women has a role in ideological construction of music video’s Tease Me Again. Ideological meanings of patriarchy organize the structure of gender differences to incorporate oppositions of body meanings constructed from signification between men and women bodies, such as the maturity of women and the childish of men, female strength and male weakness.
