SISTEM INFORMASI KEY PERFOMANCE INDICATOR (KPI) DALAM JARINGAN 3G/WCDMA (UMTS)

Kesuksesan pelayanan dan kualitas suara dan data pada sektor telekomunikasi pada jaringan 3G/WCDMA (UMTS) dilakukan dengan memberikan indikator Key Performance Indicator (KPI). Key Performance Indicator (KPI) didapatkan sesuai dengan fungsi masing-masing pada tiap element topologi jaringan 3G/WCDMA (UMTS) yang saling berkorelasi dan bermanfaat sebagai acuan untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja kualitas sinyal jaringan 3G/WCDMA (UMTS) yang telah terpasang pada saat ini. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mempermudah system analisa untuk Planning and Optimization engineer dengan menampilan data Key Performance Inicator (KPI) dengan menggunkan web service yang terintegrasi, akan meningkatkan kinerja kegiatan pemantauan Key Performance Indicator (KPI) kepada pihak-pihak yang terkait. Langkah awal pada penelitian ini adalah dengan mengumpulkan literatur yang komperhensif untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai Key Performance Indicator (KPI) pada jaringan 3G/WCDMA (UMTS). Langkah selanjutnya adalah mengembangkan web service Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring untuk jaringan 3G/WCDMA (UMTS) dan diikuti dengan pengembangan purwarupa. Validasi dari pengembangan web service Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring pada jaringan 3G/WCDMA (UMTS) menunjukkan bahwa web service Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring pada jaringan 3G/WCDMA (UMTS) dapat digunakan untuk mempermudah pengguna dalam memberikan kontrol terhadap kesuksesan pelayanan, kualitas, pemeliharaan, trouble shooting, dan juga pelaporan.

The success of service and quality voice and data on telecommunication sector in 3G/WCDMA networks (UMTS) is done by providing indicators Key Performance Indicator (KPI). Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is obtained in accordance with their respective functions in each element topology 3G/WCDMA networks (UMTS) are mutually correlated and useful as a reference to optimize the performance of the signal quality 3G/WCDMA networks (UMTS) which has been installed at this time. The research was done to simplify the system analysis for Planning and Optimization engineer with data display Key Performance Indicator (KPI) by using the integrated Web services, will improve performance monitoring Key Performance Indicator (KPI) to the parties concerned. The first step in this research is to gather a comprehensive literature to obtain information on the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) on 3G/WCDMA networks (UMTS). The next step is to develop a web service Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring for 3G/WCDMA networks (UMTS) and followed by the development of prototypes. Validation of web development services Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring in 3G/WCDMA networks (UMTS) shows that the web service Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring in 3G/WCDMA networks (UMTS) can be used to facilitate the user in providing control over the service's success , quality, maintenance, trouble shooting, and also reporting.
