RUANG BARISAN YANG DIBANGKITKAN OLEH FUNGSI ORLICZ

Dalam tesis ini dipelajari tentang sifat-sifat ruang barisan 􀁁Φ sebagai salah satu ruang yang dibangkitkan oleh fungsi Orlicz Φ . Ditunjukkan adanya hubungan antara konvergen dengan konvergen- Φ , begitu juga dengan barisan Cauchy dengan barisan Cauchy- Φ . Karena adanya hubungan tersebut, diperoleh bahwa 􀁁Φ ruang Banach dan ruang lengkap- Φ . Ditunjukkan juga tentang representasi fungsional linear kontinu pada ruang 􀁁Φ .

In this thesis, we study some properties of 􀁁Φ as one of sequence spaces generated by an Orlicz function Φ . We show that there is a relation between convergence and Φ -convergence as well as a relation between Cauchy sequence and Φ -Cauchy sequence. Because of the relation, we obtained that 􀁁Φ is a Banach space and a Φ -complete space. We also show a representation of continuous linear functionals on 􀁁Φ spaces .
