Izin Penyelenggaraan Reklame merupakan salah satu jenis pelayanan perizinan yang dilaksanakan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Bantul. Izin penyelenggaraan reklame ini bertujuan untuk mengatur dan menertibkan penyelenggaraan pemasangan reklame demi efisiensi dan efektifitas dalam pemungutan pajak dan retribusinya. Sistem Informasi Manajemen berbasis Web GIS dibangun untuk membantu pelayanan Izin Penyelenggaraan Reklame di wilayah Kabupaten Bantul. Sistem Informasi ini merupakan sistem informasi yang dapat diakses melalui media internet. Sistem informasi tersebut memberikan informasi tentang prosedur, mekanisme penyelenggaraan reklame, mengajukan permohonan izin penyelenggaraan reklame dan dilengkapi dengan fasilitas Sistem Informasi Geografi berbasis Web yang digunakan untuk menentukan lokasi penyelenggaraan reklame yang diizinkan.

An advertisement permit is one type of license services performed by the district of Bantul. The implementation permit of this advertisement aims to regulate and curb the operation of the installation of billboards for the sake of efficiency and effectiveness in tax collection and retribution. Web based management information system of GIS is built to service for making advertisement license in the district of Bantul. This information system is an information system that can be accessed via the Internet. Information system provides information on the procedures, mechanism and implementation billboard system equipped with a web based geographic information used to determine the location of the implementation of advertising is permitted.
