PENGARUH DAYA ANTI BAKTERI SILER SALURAN AKAR BERBAHAN DASAR SENG OKSID EUGENOL, KALSIUM HIDROKSIDA DAN RESIN TERHADAP BAKTERI ENTEROCOCCUS FAECALIS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh daya antibakteri siler saluran akar berbahan dasar seng oksid eugenol, kalsium hidroksida dan resin terhadap bakteri Enterococcus faecalis. Penelitian menggunakan 16 cawan petri dibagi 4 kelompok : kelompok I siler berbahan dasar seng oksid eugenol, kelompok II siler berbahan dasar kalsium hidroksida, kelompok III siler berbahan dasar resin dan kelompok IV kontrol. Pengenceran larutan bakteri Enterococcus faecalis dengan kepadatan bakteri 10-8CFU/ml. Masing-masing kelompok dicari MIC (Minimum Inhibitor Consentrasi). MIC masing-masing kelompok dimasukkan ke 1 tabung reaksi berisi larutan bakteri Enterococcus faecalis kepadatan bakteri 10-8CFU/ml, diinkubasi 24 jam. Larutan dilusi ditanam di media agar Mac Conkey, diinkubasi 24 jam. Jumlah koloni yang tumbuh pada media agar, dihitung menggunakan alat colony counter. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Anava satu jalur dan uji-t (p≤0,05). Hasil penelitian rerata dari daya antibakteri siler saluran akar terhadap Enterococcus faecalis (p≤0,05) berturut-turut, kelompok I 40.0 ± 26.58 CFU/ml, kelompok II 50.0 ± 32.93 CFU/ml dan kelompok III 79.0 ± 9.56 CFU/ml. Uji Anava terdapat pengaruh daya antibakteri siler saluran akar terhadap Enterococcus faecalis yang bermakna (p≤0,05) dan uji-t terdapat perbedaan daya antibakteri siler saluran akar terhadap Enterococcus faecalis yang bermakna (p≤0,05). Kesimpulan daya antibakteri tertinggi berturut-turut adalah siler saluran akar berbahan dasar seng oksid eugenol, kalsium hidroksida dan terendah resin.

The study aims to identify the effects of antibacterial sealer based zinc oxide eugenol, calcium hydroxide and resin to Enterococcus faecalis . A total of 16 subjects was divided into 4 group, as follows : group I sealer based zinc oxide eugenol, group II sealer based calcium hydroxide, group III sealer based resin and group IV control. Dilution solution with the density of bacteria Enterococcus faecalis 10-8 CFU/ml.MIC (Minimum Inhibitor Consentrasi) each group was see. MIC of each group was inserted into a test tube containing a solution of the bacteria Enterococcus faecalis 10-8 CFU/ml density, incubated 24 hours. Dilution solution grown on Mac Conkey agar medium, then was incubated 24 hours. The number of colonies growing on agar media were counted by using a colony counter. Data were analyzed using one way Anava and t-test (α≤0.05). The results mean indicated effect antibacterial to Enterococcus faecalis (α≤0.05) were group I 40.0 ± 26.58 CFU/ml, Group II 50.0 ± 32.93 CFU/ml and group III 79.0 ± 9.56 CFU/ml. One way Anava were significant influence and t-test were difference effect antibacterial to Enterococcus faecalis (α≤0.05). Result sealer based zinc oxide eugenol shown to be the most effect antibacterial, followed by sealer based calcium hydroxide and sealer based resin.
