KAJIAN PEMANFAATAN DAN KELAYAKAN KUALITAS AIRTANAH UNTUK KEBUTUHAN DOMESTIK DAN INDUSTRI KECIL-MENENGAH DI KECAMATAN LAWEYAN KOTA SURAKARTA JAWATENGAH

Kecamatan Laweyan merupakan salah satu daerah di Kota Surakarta yang merupakan daerah perkotaan dengan kepadatan penduduk 11.271 jiwa/km2. Di Kecamatan Laweyan banyak terdapat industri kecil-menengah khususnya industri batik yang notabene membutuhkan airtanah dalam jumlah besat dalam proses produksinya disamping juga banyak industri lain yang beragam jenisnya. Berdasarkan kenyataan tersebut peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian tentang pemanfaatan airtanah untuk kebutuhan domestik dan industri kecil-menengah dan kualitas airtanah yang digunakan untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan domestik di Kecamatan Laweyan Kota Surakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Mengkaji pemanfaatan airtanah untuk kebutuhan domestik dan industri kecil-menengah di wilayah Kecamatan Laweyan Kota Surakarta. 2) Menganalisis kualitas airtanah untuk kebutuhan domestik di Kecamatan Laweyan Kota Surakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala keluarga di Kecamatan Laweyan yang berjumlah 25.597 KK, dan 578 unit usaha kecil-menengah. Sampel dalam penelitian ada tiga yaitu sampel airtanah dari 5 sumur yang diambil dengan metode area sampling, 128 sampel responden untuk kebutuhan airtanah domestik dan 30 sampel kebutuhan airtanah untuk keperluan industry. Variabel penelitian ada dua yaitu kualitas airtanah dan volume pemanfaatan air masyarakat di Kecamatan Laweyan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kebutuhan airtanah untuk keperluan domestik di Kecamatan Laweyan Kota Surakarta adalah 183 lt/kapita/hari dan pemanfaatan airtanah untuk keperluan domestik di Kecamatan Laweyan Kota Surakarta pada tahun 2010 adalah sebesar 7.353.795,53 m3. Sedangkan pemanfaatan airtanah untuk keperluan industri kecil-menengah di Kecamatan Laweyan Kota Surakarta pada tahun 2010 adalah sebesar 910.173,50 m3. Untuk uji kualitas airtanah dari semua parameter yang diuji ada dua parameter yang tidak memenuhi syarat karena memiliki kandungan lebih besar dari standar yaitu total total coliform dan phenol. Untuk total coliform dari 5 sampel airtanah rata-rata memiliki kandungan > 1600MPN/100ml sedangkan kandungan phenol antara 0,0215-0,0254 mg/L dari baku mutu 0,01 mg/L.

Sub Laweyan is one area in the city of Surakarta, which is urban areas with a population density of 11,271 people/km2. Based on the fact that researchers interested in conducting research on the use of groundwater for domestic and small-medium scale industries and the quality of groundwater used for domestic needs in the District Laweyan Surakarta. The purpose of this research are 1) studying the use of groundwater for domestic and small-medium scale industries in the District Laweyan Surakarta. 2) analyze the quality of groundwater for domestic needs in the District Laweyan Surakarta. The population in this study is the head of household in District Laweyan totaling 25,597 households, and 578 units of small-medium enterprises. The sample in this study that there are three groundwater samples from 5 wells taken with the method of sampling area, 128 groundwater samples for the needs of domestic respondents and 30 samples of groundwater for industrial needs. There are two research variable is the quality of groundwater and the volume of water use in the District Laweyan community. The results showed that the need for groundwater for domestic purposes in the District Laweyan Surakarta is 183 liter / capita / day and the use of groundwater for domestic purposes in the District Laweyan Surakarta in 2010 amounted to 7,353,795.53 m3. While the use of groundwater for small-medium scale industries in the District Laweyan Surakarta in 2010 amounted to 910,173.50 m3. To test the groundwater quality of all tested parameters there are two parameters that do not qualify because it has content that is greater than the standard total coliform and total phenols. For total coliform of 5 average groundwater samples contain> 1600MPN/100ml while the phenol content of between 0.0215 to 0.0254 mg / L of the standard 0.01 mg / L.
