Pengaruh situasi psikologis kelompok terhadap performansi pengambilan keputusan

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh situasi psikologis kelompok terhadap performansi pengambilan keputusan kelompok belajar di perguruan tinggi. Situasi psikologis kelompok terdiri dari empat dimensi yaitu kepedulian supervisor, otonomi, tekanan waktu, dan kohesivitas. Performansi pengambilan keputusan kelompok diukur dari empat indikator performansi yaitu efektivitas, efisiensi, pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan kelompok serta kepuasan kelompok. Eksperimen dilakukan dengan memanipulasi dimensi kepedulian supervisor, otonomi dan tekanan waktu (2 x 2 x 2 faktorial) dan mengendalikan dimensi kohesi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa performansi pengambilan keputusan kelompok, khususnya efisiensi dipengaruhi oleh situasi psikologis kelompok. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa kepedulian supervisor berperan penting dalam performansi pengambilan keputusan kelompok. Kelompok dengan supervisor peduli, tidak otonom dan tanpa tekanan waktu menunjukkan performansi pengambilan keputusan kelompok yang terbaik. Hasil penelitan menyimpulkan bahwa kepedulian supervisor yang dapat dimaknai sebagai wujud dari kepemimpinan merupakan penentu penting situasi psikologis kelomppok.

The aim of the research is to examine the effect of group psychological climate on the decision-making performance of university learning teams. The group psychological climate consists of four dimensions, namely supervisor consideration, autonomy, time pressure, and cohesiveness. The group decision-making performance is measured in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, learning and growth, and group satisfaction. An experiment has been conducted by manipulating the dimensions of supervisor consideration, autonomy, and time pressure (2 x 2 x 2 factorial), the dimension of cohesion is controlled in experiment. It is found that the group decision-making performance is affected by the group psychological climate. It also reveals that supervisor consideration constitutes a significant factor in the group decision-making performance. The groups with a large measure of supervisor consideration but without neither autonomy nor time pressure demonstrate the best group decision-making performance. The research implies that supervisor consideration in terms of leadership predicts group psychological climate strength.
