Program perencanaan karir untuk meningkatkan career search self efficacy

Fresh graduate bachelors will enter the next step of their life as new worker, which one of the step is working and then having career. Individuals with high career search self efficacy (CSSE) will have efficacy to perform career exploration activities. The main purpose of this experimental research was to obtain the effectiveness of career planning program to increase participant’s career search self efficacy. Participants of this study were 39 fresh graduate bachelors and classified into two groups. Experimental group consisted of 20 individuals which received career planning program as the intervention. The other group which served as a control unit consisted of 19 individuals and received career planning program in second period (waiting list). Data were analysed using analysis of variance mix. The result supported the hypothesis that career planning program is effective to increase career search self efficacy (F=37,243, p<0,05). The implication of the findings and suggestion for future research were discussed.
