Successful factors in technology-based alliance between digital bridge and komunikasi maya

Seiring dengan aktivitas ekonomi yang mencapai skaJa global dan secara kritis bergantung pada aJiran informasi yang cepat dan akurat, telekomunikasi menjadi kebutuhan strategis untuk pembangunan dan kemajuan ekonomi. Pada saat yang sama, inovasi yang cepat daJam teknologi telekomunikasi dan informasi telah mengurangi berbagai biaya, menciptakan berbagai tipe dan cara-cara barn dalam bidangjasa telekomunikasi. Voice over Internet Protocol (V oiP) adalah sebuah layanan Internet yang turnbuh dengan cepat. VoiP menjadi populer sebagai satu cara untuk memotong biaya dari koneksi telepon. Saat ini VoiP telah diterapkan pada beberapa perusahaan, yang mampu melakukaTl komunikasi langsung melaJui Internet kepada orang dari seluruh dunia. Sebagai konsekuensinya, teknologi VoiP perlahan menggantikan peran dari telepon tradisional. Bekerjasama dengan perusahaan dari negara berbeda melalui aliansi seperti yang dilakukan Digital Bridge dari Amerika Serikat dan Komunikasi Maya dari Indonesia yang dihubungkan oleh sistem teknologi komunikasi dan informasi, daJam hal ini adalah VoiP, agar mencapai keuntungan timbal balik dengan menyampaikan produk atau jasa atas dasar pemahaman bisnis umum melalui seperangkat tujuan dan standar yang telah disetujui bersama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi serta mengkaji sukses dari aJiansi bedasarkan teknologi antara Digital Bridge dan Komunikasi Maya. Berlandaskan analisa, semoga tesis ini akan memiliki uraian yang jelas tentang karakteristik dari aliansi bedasarkan teknologi; fak:tor-faktor yang mempengaruhi operasional; dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi sukses dari aliansi bedasarkan teknologi antara Digital Bridge dan Komunikasi Maya.

Along with economy activities that reach global scale and critically become dependent to fast and accurate information flow, telecommunication becomes strategic requirement to development and economic growth. Upon coincides, fast innovation in telecommunication and information technology have reduced various cost, creating new type of services, and new tricks in telecommunication service dispatch and revamps cost structure of a variety industry. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoiP) is a rapidly growing Internet service. It gained popularity as a way to cut costs of telephone connections. Today it is being implemented in many companjes, where it enables direct, often free communication over the Internet to people from all over the world. As a consequence, VolP technology slowly replaces traditional telephony. Cooperating companies from different countries in an alliance such as Digital Bridge from United States and Komunikasi Maya from Indonesia that are linked by an Information Communication Technology system which is VoiP, in order to achieve mutual benefits by delivering products or services on the basis of common business understandings and a set of agreed goals and standards The objective of this research is to identify the influencing factors and assessing the success of technology based alliance between Digital Bridge and Komunikasi Maya. Based on the analysis, hopefully this thesis would have clear description about the characteristic of technology-based alliance; the factors that affect the operation of technology-based alliance; and the factors that influence the success of Digital Bridge and Komunikasi Maya technology-based alliance.
