Perancangan dan implementasi XML Web Service untuk aplikasi penjualan tiket bus Putra Remaja

Sistem Pemesanan dan Penjualan Tiket Bus yang ada pada Perusahan Bus PO. Putra Remaja di Yogyakarta yang ada selama ini belum mengimplementasikan teknologi XML web service, sehingga dalam pelayanan masih menggunakan sistem tradisional, di mana agen yang ditunjuk akan mencatat pemesanan tiket dengan quota yang telah disesuaikan oleh kantor pusat, jika ada quota untuk jurusan tertentu pada agen terntu, maka agen itu harus melakukan pengecekan ke agen lain atau kantor pusat untuk konfimasi. Pada penelitian ini dibangun sebuah sistem web service yang mampu mengelola sistem penjualan tiket bus, di mama web service sebagai service provider akan di letakan di kantor pusat dan para agen cukup menyediakan sebuah aplik asi client yang dapat mengkonsumsi fungsi-fungsi yang terdapat pada web service tersebut. Dengan mengimplementasikan teknologi web service yang berbasis XML untuk pertukaran data dan dalam komunikasinya menggunakan protokol standar internet yaitu HTTP melalui sebuah jaringan, maka dapat mempermudah para calon penumpang untuk mengetahui jadwal keberangkatan bus dan melakukan pemesanan tiket. Hasil dari implementasi teknologi web service untuk aplikasi penjualan tiket Bus Putra Remaja, yang diperoleh dengan melakukan pengujian pada masing -masing service yang tersedia dan pengujian pada aplikasi . Hal ini telah menunjukkan bahwa web service yang berfungsi sebagai service provider mampu mendukung service requester dan dapat berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan sistem.

An e-Ticketing system in the autobus company of Putra Remaja in Yogyakarta does not yet apply the technology of xml web services at all this time, therefore it still uses the traditional system. It means that the appointed agents perform the ticketing orders based on the decided quota by the central office. If there is a quota for certain destination, the appointed agent has to do checking to the others or the central office to confirm about it. It was build in this research a system of web services that is capable to manage the autobus ticket selling system that is used as a service provider in the central office, whereas the agents prepare an application of clients that is capable to perform services on the web. By implementing the web services technology based on xml to perform data exchange and the protocol of internet standard http in communication through a network, it can facilitate the candidates of passengers to know the autobus departure schedule and perform ticketing orders. The results of implementation of web services technology apply ticket selling Putra Remaja autobus, which is achieved by performing evaluation in all available services and evaluation of accessed application . It shows that web services which have function as a service provider are capable to support service requester and they work well to meet the needed systems.
