Integrasi user management pada user hotspot dan user account untuk learning management system berbasis protokol radius

Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (FKIK UMY) telah mengembangkan aplikasi TI dengan berbagai model sebagai salah satu alat bantu dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Namun aplikasi-aplikasi tersebut tidak dirancang untuk saling terintegrasi satu dengan lainnya, sehingga pengelolaan penggunaannya dilakukan pada masing-masing aplikasi secara mandiri. Keadaan seperti ini memungkinkan terjadinya duplikasi pengguna dan informasi antar aplikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang integrasi pengelolaan pengguna pada user hotspot MikroTik user account aplikasi Moodle. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah studi lapangan, studi pustaka, perancangan sistem yang meliputi perancangan arsitektural dan desain topologi jaringan, serta implementasi sistem. Sistem yang dibuat meliputi 3 bagian, yaitu bagian yang pertama adalah konfigurasi server RADIUS menggunakan aplikasi FreeRADIUS. Bagian yang kedua adalah konfigurasi fitur hotspot MikroTik dan aplikasi Moodle sebagai klien dari server RADIUS. Bagian yang ketiga adalah pengembangan dan implementasi aplikasi pengelolaan pengguna berbasis web dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah user hotspot pada MikroTik dan user account pada aplikasi Moodle dapat diintegrasikan pengelolaannya dengan membangun server otentikasi berbasis protokol RADIUS dan pengadministrasian account dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi daloRADIUS. Pengintegrasian ini dapat membuat pengguna hanya akan memiliki satu akun tunggal untuk beberapa aplikasi.

Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (FKIK UMY) has developed IT applications with variety of models as a tool in the process of teaching and learning activities. However, these applications are not designed to be integrated with each other, so the user management is still conducted on each application independently. This allow the duplication of information between users and applications. The purpose of this research is to design the integration of user management on users hotspot of MikroTik and user account of Moodle application. The methodology used is field study, literature study, system design that includes architectural design and network topology design, and implementation of the system. The system consist 3 parts, first is the configuration of RADIUS server using the FreeRADIUS application. The second part is the configuration of Mikrotik hotspot features and applications Moodle as a client of a RADIUS server. The third section is the development and implementation of web-based user management application with the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of this research is Users Hotspot of Mikrotik and User Accounts of the Moodle application can be integrated through building of RADIUS protocol based authentication server and the administration of account can be use the application daloRADIUS. This integration allow users to have only one single account for multiple applications.
