Pengaruh modal sosial terhadap keberlanjutan kelompoktani hutan kemasyarakatan di Kabupaten Gunungkidul

Keberlanjutan Kelompoktani HKm memiliki peran yang strategis dalam menjaga kelestarian hutan. Kelompoktani HKm dengan tingkat keberlanjutan yang tinggi dapat mengelolaa lahan HKm secara berkelanjutan. Tingkat keberlanjut-an Kelompoktani terkait dengan lingkungan sosialnya, terutama modal sosial yang dimiliki oleh anggota kelompok. Modal sosial dalam bentuk kesaling-percayaan, jaringan kerjasama dan norma kelompok merupakan salah satu modal untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan Kelompoktani HKm. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui pengaruh modal sosial terhadap keberlanjutan kelompok tani HKm di Kabupaten Gunungkidul; 2) mengetahui pengaruh faktor internal kelompok terhadap keberlanjutan kelompok tani HKm yang meliputi sikap terhadap kelompok, motivasi berkelompok, kepemimpinan kelompok dan peran anggota kelompok; 3) mengetahui pegaruh faktor eksternal kelompok terhadap keberlanjutan kelompok yang meliputi peran penyuluh kehutanan dan peran pendamping LSM; 4) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi modal sosial. Metode dasar dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis dan eksplanatoris. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 175 petani yang diambil dari 35 kelompok tani HKm di Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik ”stratified random sampling”. Stratum 1 adalah pengurus dan stratum 2 adalah anggota. Jumlah sample stratum 1 sebanyak 2 orang dan stratum 2 sebanyak 3 orang untuk masing-masing kelompok. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan metode backward menggunakan program SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh masih-masing variabel, selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan Analisis Jalur menggunakan program AMOS 7.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : Modal sosial berpengaruh nyata terhadap keberlanjutan kelompok tani HKm. Faktor-faktor lain yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap keberlanjutan kelompok tani adalah sikap anggota terhadap kelompok, kepemimpinan kelompok, peran anggota kelompok, dan peran pendamping LSM. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap modal sosial adalah kepemimpinan kelompok, peran anggota, dan peran pendamping LSM.

The sustainability of Social Forestry Farmer Group plays main role to keep sustainable forest. Social Forestry Farmer Group which has high sustainability is able to manage social forestry continually. The sustainability of Social Forestry Farmer Group is influenced by its social environment, especially social capital. Trust, network and norm as social capital is a kind of capital to elevate the sustainability of Social Forestry Farmer Group. The research’s aims were: 1) to know the effect of social capital on sustainability of Social Forestry Farmer Group in Gunungkidul Regency; 2) to know the effect of internal factors on sustainability of Social Forestry Farmer Group in Gunungkidul Regency, i.e. attitude to group, motivation, group leadership and members’ role; 3) to know the effect of external factors on sustainability of Social Forestry Farmer Group in Gunungkidul Regency, i.e. forestry extension agent role and the NGO agent role; 4) to know the factors influenced on sustainability of Social Forestry Farmer Group. The research method was analytical descriptive and explanative. The sample was 175 farmers who the member of 35 Social Forestry Farmer Groups in Gunungkidul Regency and the sampling technique was stratified random sampling. First stratum was the board member and second stratum was the member. Two samples of first stratum and three samples of second stratum were taken from each Farmer Groups. Data analysis was Multiple Linier Regression with SPSS 16.0 for Windows and Path Analysis with AMOS 7.0. The findings were: Social capital significantly influenced on sustainability of Social Forestry Farmer Group. In addition, attitude toward group, group leadership; group member’s role); and NGO agents’ role also influenced on sustainability of Social Forestry Farmer Group. The variables signifycantly influenced social capital were group leadership; group member role; and NGO agent role.
