Pengaruh metode umpan balik kepemimpinan transformasional 360 derajat terhadap peningkatan kepuasan kerja karyawan

The objective of this study is to determine the effect of 360-degree feedback of transformational leadership in improving employee job satisfaction at PT. PLN (Persero), Yogyakarta. The comparison was conducted between experimental group (4 subjects and 23 respondents) and control group (4 subjects and 24 respondents). The subjects of this study were managers (unit managers and assistant managers) and the respondents of this study were supervisors. The 360-degree feedback was given based on ratings of manager’s transformational leadership by subordinates, peers, superiors and self review. Managers in the experimental group received feedback report from a facilitator, while managers in the control group did not receive any feedback. The level of job satisfaction was measured using job descriptive index scale modified by Smith, Kendall and Hulin (1987). Job satisfaction scale was administered to respondents prior to the intervention (pre-test) and afterwards (post-test). The results of this study are analyzed with mixed anova method. Results indicated that the 360-degree feedback of transformational leadership enhance job satisfaction level significantly (F=6,549; p<0,05).
