Peran konseling karir "Bersama mengapai Cita" dalam meningkatkan keterampilan penetapan keputusan karir siswa perempuan SMA

It is indicated that adolescent have reached vocational maturity when they are able to determine their major and career in the future. Some phases are definitely needed by adolescent before they eventually take the decision. Two of the factors which influence them in making decision are parents and teachers. Besides, they are also In doubt when they strive for taking the decision. This study aims to find out role of career counseling in skill of improving career decision of Senior High School Female Students. Participants who involve in this study are 20 Senior High School Female Students Class XI from major of IPA (Mathematical and Natural Sciences) and IPS (Social Studies), 10 students were the control group and 10 students were the experimental group. Hypothesis proposed is career counseling which can improve career decision-making skill Senior High School Female Students. The data analyzed with independent sample t-test. The result showed that career counseling “Bersama Menggapai Cita” was effective toward career decisionmaking skill female student’s. There is significan differences student’s in career decisionmaking skill between experimental and control group (t=3,518; p=0,002; p< 0,05).
