Aplikasi berbasis web menggunakan SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) untuk hasil pemilu di Indonesia

Pemilihan umum merupakan salah satu bagian pada suatu proses demokrasi. Indonesia adalah salah satu negara yang menjunjung tinggi asas demokrasi, bukti nyata atas pelaksanaan asas demokrasi tersebut adalah pelaksanaan pemilihan umum setiap lima tahun sekali. Hasil dari perhitungan suara Pemilu perlu adanya sebuah teknologi yang mendukung kecepatan, ketepatan informasi yang harus disampaikan. Pelaporan hasil perhitungan suara Pemilu selain dalam bentuk tabel juga disajikan dalam bentuk grafis yaitu pemetaan wilayah peserta Pemilu. Grafis yang dihasilkan dari aplikasi berbasis web ini berbentuk peta. Peta dapat mendefinisikan luas wilayah atau tempat yang mengacu pada sistem koordinat dan direpresentasikan dalam gambar dua dimensi. Perangkat lunak dapat menghasilkan peta dinamis dan menampilkan data keruangan dan atribut pada sebuah browser dengan penggunaan format SVG. SVG adalah kepanjangan dari Scalable Vector Graphics dan merupakan format file baru dalam web graphic untuk menampilkan grafik serta mendeskripsikan gambar 2 dimensi dalam pengembangan aplikasi web yang berbasis XML (eXtensible Markup Language). Kolaborasi antara SVG dan PHP dapat menjadikan matriks SVG sebagai input dalam pembuatan peta wilayah sehingga peta dengan format SVG menjadi dinamis dan mudah dalam perubahan pembentukan peta wilayah. Pada penelitian ini sistem dapat memberikan informasi hasil perhitungan suara Pemilu dengan proses pengiriman data melalui SMS dan menampilkan peta wilayah pada web browser dengan format SVG yang diimplementasikan ke dalam web server apache dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL.

Elections is one part in a democratic process. Indonesia is one country that upholds the principles of democracy, real evidence on the implementation of the principle of democracy is elections once time in five years. The results of the election vote count there should be a technology that supports the speed, accuracy of information that must be submitted. Reporting the results of vote counting in elections other than the form of tables are also presented in graphical form that is mapping the regions participating in the Elections. Graphics are generated from this web-based applications form the map. Maps can define an area or place to the coordinate system and is represented in two-dimensional image. This software can generate a dynamic map and display spatial and attribute data on the use of a browser with SVG format . SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphics is a new format in the web graphic and to display a graphic and describe the 2-dimensional images in the development of web application based on XML (eXtensible Markup Language). Collaboration between SVG and PHP can make matrix SVG as inputs to make of map area so that map can be a dynamic map with a SVG format and easy to change the map area. In this study, the system can provide information on the calculation results of Election to the process of sending voice data via SMS and the system will display it in tabular form and map of the area on a web browser with SVG format, which is implemented into the apache web server using the PHP programming language and MySQL database.
