Setiap program studi (Prodi) perlu di akreditasi oleh lembaga BAN-PT untuk mengetahui perkembangan proses belajar-mengajarnya. Untuk mengetahui nilai kompetensi diperlukan cara yang optimal sehingga prodi yang bersangkutan dapat mempersiapkan diri lebih baik. Salah satu metoda yang dianggap sesuai adalah metoda AHP. Oleh karena itu perlu dipelajari lebih lanjut: Bagaimana menerapkan penggunaan metode AHP untuk menentukan prioritas peningkatan nilai kompetensi Institusi Pendidikan?, apa saja yang mempengaruhi penilaian bobot metoda AHP dalam penelitian ini?, dan bagaimanakah prioritas yang diutamakan dalam tesis ini?. Software yang digunakan adalah Expert Choice 11. Acuan dasar penilaian bobot skor berdasarkan BAN-PT. Baseline pada tesis ini adalah SWOT (Evalusasi Diri) yang dimiliki oleh Prodi. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengetahui kondisi pada masa yang akan datang. Tentunya prioritas yang dihasilkan masih harus dilakukan langkah strategi selanjutnya dan perlu adanya kerjasama yang solid di lingkungan UMY.

Each study program (Prodi) needs to be accredited by BAN-PT in order to describe the accademic and learning process. To determine the value of competence its required optimal way so that the relevant Prodi can prepare better. One method that considered appropriate is AHP method. Therefore need further study: How to implement the use of AHP method in order to determine the priority of increasing the value of competence Institution?, Anything that affects the assessment of the weight of AHP method in this research?, And how priorities that take precedence in this thesis?. Software used is Expert Choice 11. Basic reference assessment scores based on the weight of BAN-PT. Baseline in this thesis is the SWOT (Self Evaluation) owned by Prodi. The questionnaire used to assess conditions in the days to come. Of course, the resulting priorities are still to be done next strategic step and there is need for a solid cooperation in UMY environment.
