2010 | Tesis | S2 Magister Sains PsikologiPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode collaborative learning terhadap kebiasaan belajar dan prestasi belajar matematika pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri. Diharapkan dengan penerapan metode collaborative learning mampu meningkatkan kebiasaan belajar dan prestasi belajar siswa khususnya pada mata pelajaran matematika dibandingkan dengan penerapan metode belajar konvensional (ceramah). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Pangsid Kab.Sidrap Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan sebanyak 70 orang, yang terbagi dalam 2 kelompok (eksperimen dan kontrol) dengan masing-masing jumlah responden sebanyak 35 siswa. Pengambilan sample dilakukan dengan cara random assignment dari 233 jumlah siswa kelas VII. Alat ukur uang digunakan adalah tes prestasi matematika dan skala Likert (skala kebiasaan belajar). Metode analisis data Anakova yang menggunakan program SPSS 16.00 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh metode collaborative learning tipe STAD terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan nilai F = 32,415 (p=0,000) yang berarti bahwa dengan metode collaborative learning tipe STAD prestasi belajar siswa meningkat dibandingkan prestasi belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode ceramah (konvensional). Selain itu, ada pengaruh metode collaborative learning tipe STAD terhadap kebiasaan belajar siswa dibandingkan siswa yang diajar dengan metode konvensional dengan nilai F = 16,357 (p=0,000), ini berarti bahwa kebiasaan belajar siswa lebih meningkat jika diajar dengan menggunakan metode collaborative learning tipe STAD.
This research aims to determine the effects of collaborative learning method STAD type on the learning habits and achievement in Math of junior high school students. Through the application of collaborative learning methods in their class room, students are expected to be able to increase their learning habits and their achievement, especially in Math, comparing to the application of the conventional learning method. The subject of this research consists of seventy person from grade seven of SMPN 1 Sidrap regency in South Sulawesi. These subject were divided into two groups: one group used for an experiment, and the other for control, and each group consisted of 35 students. Samples were taken by random assignments from the 233 students of all grade seven. Math achievement test and Likert Scale were used to measure the learning habit and achievement of students. These data were analyzed using Anacova by SPPS 16.00 for windows. This research shows the significant effect of collaborative learning method on the achievement of students with F=32,415 (p=0,000). This reveals that the achievement of students with collaborative learning method in the class room is notably higher than the achievement of students with conventional method such as lecturing. In addition, the effect of collaborative learning on students learning habits were also found higher with F=16,357 (p= 0,000) than that of the conventional one. This means that the leaning habits also increase if the collaborative learning method is conducted in their class room.
