Pengaruh faktor teknologi organisasional interorganisasional dan adopsi electronic data interchange terhadap kinerja supply chain management

2010 | Tesis | S2 ManajemenPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor- faktor yang mempengaruhi adopsi Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) serta begaimana pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja spply chain management. Berdasarkan penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya, terdapat tiga faktor utama yang mempengaruhi proses adopsi EDI yaitu faktor teknologi, organisasional dan interorganisasional. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh faktor teknologi (relative advantege, compatibility, complexity dan exsplicitnee of tecnology), faktor organisational (internal support, manajemen puncak, dan kualitas sumber daya manusia), dan faktor interorganisasional (dukungan konsumen, trust, tekanan persaingan, relationship commitment dan potensial power) terhadap adopsi EDI. Selain itu penelitian ini juga akan menguji pengaruh adopsi EDI tersebut terhadap kinerja supply chain management. Dengan menggunakan sampel perusahaan manufaktur dan jasa di Indonesia, data yang terkumpul di uji dengan menggunakan metode regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor teknologi (keuntungan relatif dan compatibility), organisasional (internal support, dukungan manajemen puncak dan kualitas sumber daya manusia) serta faktor interorganisasional (dukungan konsumen, rasa percaya, tekanan kompetisi, relationship commitment, dan potential power) mempengaruhi adopsi EDI. Hasil pepenlitian juga menunjukkan bahwa dengan mengadopsi EDI perusahaan manufaktur dan jasa di Indonesia dapat meningkatkan kinerja supply chainnya.
This research studies the factors that influencing the adoption of Electronic Data Interchange’s by manufacture and services industries in Indonesia and investigates the influences of EDI adoption on supply chain performance. The influencing factors include technology (relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, and explicitness of technology), organizational (internal support, top management support, and quality of human resources), and inter-organizational (customer support, trust, competitive advantage, relationship commitment, and potential power). In this article, we test several hypotheses on a sample of manufacturer and services industries in Indonesia. The result indicate that the adoption of EDI is significantly influenced by technology (relative advantage and compatibility), organizational (internal support, top management support, and quality of human resources), and inter-organizational (customer support, trust, competitive advantage, relationship commitment, and potential power). We also find that adopting EDI will increase supply chain performance for the services and manufacture industry in Indonesia.
