Jaringan komputer semakin komplek dengan berbagai permasalahan yang juga terus berkembang, mewajibkan bagi seorang pengelola jaringan menerapkan teknologi yang bisa mengatasi permasalahan yang muncul sesuai dengan karakteristik permasalahan tersebut. Sa lah satu pemecahan permasalahn dijaringan tentang protokol routing adalah dengan penerapan internal border gateway protocol. Internal Border Gateway Protocol disingkat IBGP protokol routing yang cocok diterapkan untuk dinamik routing untuk sebuah jaringan internet yang mendukung BGP yang merupakan inti dari protokol routing jaringan internet . IBGP adalah protokol routing yg digunakan untuk melakukan pertukaran informasi routing antar jaringan. Ia bekerja dengan cara memetakan sebuah tabel IP network yang menunjuk ke jaringan yg dapat dicapai antar Autonomous System (AS). IBGP diciptakan untuk mengijinkan routing secara tersebar sehingga tidak harus mengacu pada satu jaringan backbone saja. Penelitian pembuatan prototype Internal Border Gateway Protocol yang memakai studi kasus jaringan FKIP UNS diharapkan bermanfaat untuk optimalisasi pengeloaan kelancaran jaringan routing protocol secara otomatis dalam sebuah network. Penelitian bertujuan memperoleh kebutuhan sistem dalam pengembangan routing protocol IBGP, mengetahui metode/sistem kerja routing protocol IBGP, mendapatkan perbandingan routing antara statik (existing) dan dinamik (prototype) sehingga bisa diperoleh kelebihan dan kekurangannya , meskipun begitu, IBGP hanya sebagian dari routing protokol dan masih banyak routing protokol.

One solution of the way to solve the problem about routing protocols is the application of internal border gateway protocol. Internal Border Gateway Protocol abbreviated IBGP routing protocols suitable for dynamic routing to an internet Conection supporting BGP is the core of the Internet routing protocols. IBGP is a reply routing protocol used to exchange routing information between networks. He works by mapping an IP network to the table that points to the network can be achieved inter reply Autonomous System (AS). IBGP routing was created to allow the spread, so did not have to refer to only one backbone network. The research prototype Internal Border Gateway Protocol network using a case study FKIP UNS network useful for optimizing network routing protocol fluency automatically in a network. The research aims to obtain in the development of system requirements IBGP routing protocols, see methods systems of work IBGP routing protocol, routing a comparison between the static (existing network) and dynamic (prototype) that can be obtained surplus and so, IBGP not only one part of routing protocols.
