Pemanfaatan teknologi pengering mekanis untuk pemenuhan pasokan eceng gondok (Eichhornia crassipes) sebagai bahan baku kerajinan

Teknologi pengering mekanis dipedukan guna pernenuhan pasokan bahan halal eceng gondok kering dan peningkatan kualitas bahan dan produk kerajinan eceng gondok. [etude penelitian yang digunakan yaitu rancang bangun dan uji kclayakan .teknis, kualitas bahan hash' pengeringan, dan fmansial. Hasil penelitian, alat pengeting mekanis tipe cabinet dryer, dengan ditnensi panjang x lebar x tinggi, 12.0 cm x 120 cm x 208 cm, kapaSitas maksimal 80 (14/10jarn), baban bakar arang kayo, dan waktu pengeringan 10 (jam). Rerata capaian suhu pengeringan tertinggi dicapai path pengeringan ocrobong dengan kapasitas 50 (kgflOjarn) sebesar 62,3°C, denga.n sebaran suhu tartars 62,95°C-65,45°C, kebutuhan blur tettinggi dicapai pada pengeringan ecrobong kapasitas 80 (kg) sebesar 14.087, I (kI) dengan efisiensi 36,753%, kadar air 12,195 %, kebutuhan udara pengering 16,26397 (kgijarn). Rerata kekualan tank terbesar dicapai Ada pengeringan cerobong kapasitas 50 (kg) sebesar 23,537 (Ninun2), sodang kelaiatan tank basil penjemuran hanya sebesar 15,681 (Nimm2), warna paling mendekarl salami (kehijauan) terdapat pada hasil proses pengeringan cerohong kapasitas 50 (kg) yaitu L 36,39; sedang warm' basil penjemuran L 51,89. &Kara finansial, dengan analisis incremental BCR &rived angka 1,015, analisis NP V lip. 2.569.148,31, 1RR 39%, dan BEP dicapai setelah alat memproduksi eceng gondok kering 962,1 (kg), atau teat' menghasilkan Rp. 5.291288,30, schingga pernakalan alat censoring mekanis untuk pengeringan eceng gondok sangat menguntungkan.

Technological of mechanical dryer is needed to accomplishment of dry eichhornia craNsipes materials and quality increasing of materials and eichhornia crassipes handicraft products. The research method use to design and make mechanical dryer and eiegibility test d technical, quality of materials result of draining, and finance. The result of the research was mechanical dryer of 'cabinet dryer' type which has dimension of length x width x height 120 cin x 120 can x 208 cm, 80 (kg/lOhours) capacity with wood coal fire source, and drying duration for 10 hours. The average highest of temperature performance was readied at chimney drying 50 QcgilOhours) capacity was 62,3T, with p temerature distribution between 62,95uC-65,4VC, the highest calorie requirement was reached by chimney dryer 80 (kg) capacity was 14.087,1 (kb with 36,753% efficiency, 12,195% moisture content, 16,26397 (kg/hour) was needed for dryer air. The maximum average of tensile strength was reached by chiyiney drying 50 (kg) capacity was 23,537 (N1mirri). while the maximum tensile strength in sun drying as 15,681 (Nimm2), eichhornia crassOes's color most coming near to natural colour (green's colour) at chimney drying was L 36, while the colour in sun drying at I, 51, 89. Financially, With the ortarysiei of incremental! BCR was 1,0415„ analysis of NPV Rp. 2.689,148,31 ,IRR 39%, BEI' was reached after the drier has been producing 962,1 (kgXs) or equivalent to cost Rp.5291.288,30, so that mechanical dryer usage for drying of eichhornia arasalpes can get good benefit.
