Perancangan database untuk sistem informasi maanjemen di instalasi farmasi RSUD Sleman Yogyakarta

2009 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu FarmasiRSUD Sleman merupakan rumah sakit umum tipe B Non Pendidikan milik Pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Sleman. Sistem informasi yang digunakan rumah sakit ini menggunakan server SQL. Sistem operasi tersebut digunakan hampir diseluruh bagian rumah sakit, kecuali di instalasi farmasi. Sistem informasi yang digunakan di IFRS menggunakan software Clipper, dBase III dan server Linux. Masalah yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah belum terintegrasinya sistem informasi di IFRS dengan sistem informasi rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang database untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keefektifan pengelolaan data di Instalasi Farmasi RSUD Sleman, yang meliputi gudang dan apotek. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan format deskriptif, jenis penelitian studi kasus. Pengumpulan data secara retrospektif dan pengamatan langsung. Perancangan sistem menggunakan metode analisis dan desain terstruktur (structured analysis and design). Alat-alat yang digunakan antara lain diagram arus data, kamus data, bagan terstruktur dan pseudo code serta bagan Input Process Output (IPO). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari pengamatan dukungan SIM lama pada pengelolaan obat di Instalasi Farmasi RSUD Sleman, menunjukkan bahwa SIM lama sudah dapat mendukung proses transaksi penjualan, pembelian, retur obat dan stok tiap akhir periode. Namun SIM lama belum menyediakan informasi dan fasilitas untuk proses pemilihan, perencanaan dan pengadaan, serta belum tersedia informasi yang lengkap untuk analisa pengendalian persediaan. Database yang ditambahkan untuk menghubungkan database-database yang ada di SIM RSUD Sleman, gudang instalasi farmasi dan apotek antara lain daftar obat-obat esensial dan referensi pendukung; analisis ABC, VEN, PUT; stok minimum, stok maksimum, Quantity pembelian optimal, dan TOR. Database tambahan dapat menghubungkan database-database yang ada di sistem informasi gudang farmasi dan apotek, serta berpengaruh terhadap kemudahan operasional, ketelitian, kelengkapan, kecepatan input dan output data, serta kehandalan sistem.
The Sleman district hospital is a local general hospital, owned by Sleman regency government. It is a B type non-teaching hospital. The database which supports hospital activities is managed using SQL server. The computer system is used in nearly all parts of the hospital, except in Pharmacy Department. The information system at Pharmacy was still using Clipper software, dBase III and Linux server. The problem that underlying this research is there has not been integrated information system at Pharmacy with the hospital’s information system. Additional database tables must be added to integrate it. The aim of this research to design a database fo r improving efficiency and effectiveness of managing data at Pharmacy department of Sleman District Hospital that consists of the warehouse and drug store. This research was a descriptive-quantitative study with case study approach. The data were collected by direct observation. The system was designed by structured analysis and design method. The tools which were used consist of data flow diagram, data dictionary, structured design and pseudo code and Input Process Output (IPO) design. The results of the research that were gained from the observation of the existing system in drugs management at Pharmacy Department, show that the existing programme was capable to support the transaction process, drug return and stock monitoring periodically. But the system has not provided information and features for selection, planning and procurement, and has not provided the complete information for inventory management analysis. The database for new system was designed to provide the feature of essential drugs list and supporting literature; ABC classification, VEN, PUT; minimum and maximum stock level; calculate TOR and estimate optimum order quantity. The database for new system could integrate the databases in the warehouse and drug store, and also had influence in operational ease, accuracy, completeness, promptness of input and output, and reliability of the system.
