Sistem Pendukung Keputusan merupakan salah satu bagian dari Sistem Informasi Berbasis Komputer yang merupakan suatu sistem informasi komputer interaktif yang dapat memberikan alternative solusi bagi para pengambil keputusan.Sebagai contoh, seorang Direktur Pengelola Beasiswa suatu perguruan tinggi, dalam menentukan mahasiswa penerima beasiswa yang cocok dengan syarat-syarat yang ditentukan oleh pemberi beasiswa memerlukan suatu system pendukung keputusan untuk membantunya dalam pengambilan keputusan dengan lebih cepat, cermat dan menghindari subyektifitas keputusan yang dihasilkan.Untuk itu dibangun suatu Sistem Pendukung Keputusan yang bertujuan membantu pekerjaan Direktur Pengelola Beasiswa dalam memutuskan mahasiswa mana yang berhak untuk menerima beasiswa melalui proses seleksi dengan menggunakan Model Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP).Model AHP merupakan model hirarki fungsional dengan input utama adalah persepsi manusia. Model ini mempunyai kemampuan untuk memecahkan masalah multikriteria yang berdasarkan perbandingan preferensi dari setiap elemen pada hirarki. Model ini membandingkan nilai kepentingan criteria, menerapkannya dalam matrik perbandingan berpasangan sehingga diperoleh bobot untuk masing-masing criteria baik criteria local maupun criteria global. kemudian membandingkan dengan nilai syarat dari mahasiswa pemohon sehingga didapatkan hasil berupa nilai prosentase perbeasiswa yang kemudian akan diseleksi berdasarkan jenis beasiswa yang ada,dengan melihat nilai batas minimum dan kuota beasiswa.Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pemanfaatan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) sebagai Model Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Penentuan Penerima Beasiswa Pada Universitas Sain dan Teknologi Jayapura dapat membantu pekerjaan Direktur Pengelola Beasiswa dalam memutuskan mahasiswa mana yang berhak untuk menerima beasiswa melalui proses pembobotan multikriteria dan seleksi dengan lebih cepat,cermat, dan lebih efektif.

The Decision Support System is the part from The Information System of Computer Based which is forms of The Information System of Computer Interactive. This system can give the alternative solution to all decision maker, for the example; The Director of Scholarship from the university in determining grantee student which suitable with the scholarship regulations, need some system of decision supporter to assist and make decision more faster, careful, and avoid the subjectivity decision. These reason develop some system of Decision Support which is have aim to assist the work from Director of Scholarship in deciding the proper student in accept the scholarship through select process by using Model of Analytical Hierarchy Process ( AHP).The AHP Model represent the functional hierarchy model with the especial input is human being perception. This Model has the ability to solve the multicriteria problem which is based to the comparison preferences from every element of hierarchy. This Model compares the value of importance criteria, applying it in matrix of comparison pair, which obtained quality from each criterion of local criteria and also global criteria. Then, making comparison with the condition value from applicant student and got some percentage result from each scholarship, and will be select by type of the scholarship, with making adjustment the boundary of minimum and the quota of the scholarship. From the result of research show that the Exploiting of Analytical Hierarchy Process ( AHP) as Model of The Decision Support System of Grantee Determination at Jayapura Science and Technology University can assist the work of The Director of Scholarship in deciding the proper student in accept the scholarship through the process of multi-criteria quality and select process with more fast, interest and effective.
