Implementasi prinsip tata kelola perusahaan yang baik (good corporate governance) pada Bank BPD Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta

Dalam rangka melaksanakan peningkatan pelayanan yang bermutu dan profesional guna menghadapi nasabah yang semakin cerdas dengan tingkat kompetitif dunia perbankan yang semakin ketat pula, serta untuk memberikan jaminan kepada pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan terhadap operasional Bank BPD DIY, maka dalam hal ini prinsip-prinsip Good Corporate Governance menjadi suatu keharusan untuk dilaksanakan. Pada titik inilah konsistensi Bank BPD DIY dalam menjalankan prinsip transparancy, accountability, responsibility, independency, dan fairness, layak untuk dicermati. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Prinsip Tata Kelola Perusahaan Yang Baik (Good Corporate Governance) diimplementasikan pada operasional Bank BPD Daerah Istimewa Yogyakart Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah normatif-empiris, yaitu suatu penelitian yang dilakukan dengan cara mengkaji/meneliti ketentuan-ketentuan hukum positif maupun asas-asas hukum mengenai Prnsip Tata Kelola Perusahaan Yang Baik (Good Corporate Governance) pada bank yang dihubungkan dengan kenyataan di lapangan/praktek operasional pada Bank BPD DIY. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh: Implementasi Prinsip Good Corporate Governance pada Bank BPD DIY dilaksanakan berdasarkan Peraturan Bank Indonesia No. 8/4/PBI/2006 tentang Pelaksanaan Good Corporate Governance Bagi Bank Umum sebagaimana telah disempurnakan dengan Peraturan Bank Indonesia No. 8/14/PBI/2006 Tentang Perubahan atas Peraturan Bank Indonesia No.8/4/PBI/2006 Tentang Pelaksanaan Good Corporate Governance Bagi Bank Umum. Implementasi Prinsip Good Corporate Governance yang dilaksanakan Bank BPD DIY sudah memenuhi dan sesuai dengan Peraturan Bank Indonesia No. 8/4/PBI/2006 Tentang Pelaksanaan Good Corporate Governance Bagi Bank Umum sebagaimana telah disempurnakan dengan Peraturan Bank Indonesia No. 8/14/PBI/2006 Tentang Perubahan atas Peraturan Bank Indonesia No. 8/4/PBI/2006 Tentang Pelaksanaan Good Corporate Governance Bagi Bank Umum.

In the scheme of implementing the improvement of quality and professional service in order to face the customer getting smarter with the world competitive level of the tighter banking also, and to give guarantee to group of persons who has necessity toword the operational of BPD Bank of DIY, so the principles, in this case,of Good Corporate Governance become the obligation to apply. At this point, the consistency of BPD Bank of DIY in implementing the principle of transparancy, accountability, responsibility, independency, dan fairness, deserve to be paid close attention. Now, it so happens that the aim of this research is to know how the Management System Princple of Good Corporate Governance is implemented at the operational of BPD Bank of Special Region Of Yogyakarta (DIY). The methode of research used is normative-empiric, that is a research done by investigating/researching both the positive law provisions and the basis of law about the Management System Princple of Good Corporate Governance at the bank connected to the reality in the field/practice of operational at BPD Bank of DIY. The result of the researvh we get : the implementation of principle of Good Corporate Governance at BPD Bank of DIY based on Bank of Indonesia regulation No. 8/4/PBI/2006 about the implementation of Good Corporate Governance for the public bank as has been completed by the Bank of Indonesia regulation No. 8/14/PBI/2006 about the change of the Bank of Indonesia regulation No.8/4/PBI/2006 about the implementation of Good Corporate Governance for the public bank. The implementation of principle of Good Corporate Governance applied by BPD Bank of DIY has fulfilled and suited with the Bank of Indonesia regulation No. 8/4/PBI/2006 about the implementation of Good Corporate Governance for the public Bank as has been completed with the regulation of Bank of Indonesia No.8/14/PBI/2006 about the change over the Bank of Indonesia regulation No.8/4/PBI/2006 about the implementation of Good Corporate Governance for the public Bank.
