Perbedaan dalam computer self efficacy dan motivasi pada pengguna metode pelatihan MyLearning dan metode pelatihan konvensional pada PT Indosat Tbk

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan dalam hal computer self-efficacy dan motivasi pada pengguna metode pelatihan MyLearning (pelatihan berbasis e-learning) dan metode pelatihan konvensional (pelatihan dalam kelas) pada PT. Indosat Tbk. Dalam penelitian ini variabel independen adalah computer self-efficacy dan motivasi, sedangkan variabel dependen adalah metode pelatihan MyLearning dan metode pelatihan konvesional. Hipotesis yang diajukan yaitu terdapat perbedaan dalam faktor computer self-efficacy dan motivasi antara pengguna metode pelatihan MyLearning dengan metode pelatihan konvensional. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 100 karyawan tetap pada Kantor Pusat PT. Indosat Tbk Jakarta. Masing-masing variabel diukur dengan kuisioner yang berbeda. Computer self-efficacy diukur dengan menggunakan Computer User Self-efficacy (CUSE) Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Cassidy dan Eachus (2002) sedangkan pengukuran motivasi diukur dengan menggunakan Motivation ARCS Model yang dikembangkan oleh Keller (1987). Metode dalam melakukan analisis data menggunakan uji T sampel bebas untuk mengetahui perbedaan computer self-efficacy dan motivasi antara pengguna metode pelatihan MyLearning dan pengguna metode pelatihan konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam computer self-efficacy dan motivasi antara pengguna metode pelatihan MyLearning dan pengguna metode pelatihan konvensional. Dari uji statistik ditemukan bahwa rata-rata computer selfefficacy dan motivasi pada pengguna metode MyLearning lebih tinggi daripada pengguna metode pelatihan konvensional.

The purpose of this study is to measure the difference in computer self-efficacy and motivation of the user of MyLearning (training base on e-learning) training method and conventional training method (in classroom training) in PT. Indosat Tbk. Independent variable in this research are computer self-efficacy and motivation, whereas dependent variable is MyLearning training method and conventional training method. The hypothesis that was put forward in this research was there is a difference in computer self-efficacy and motivation between the user of MyLearning training method and conventional training method. This research surveyed 100 permanent employee of PT. Indosat Tbk Headquarter in Jakarta. Each variable measured by different instrument. Computer self-efficacy measured using Computer User Self-efficacy (CUSE) Scale that was developed by Cassidy and Eachus (2002) while motivation measured using Motivation ARCS Model that was developed by Keller (1987). Independent-Samples T test was used to analyze the difference of computer selfefficacy and motivation between MyLearning training method user and conventional training method user. The research result showed that there were significant difference in computer self-efficacy and motivation between MyLearning training method user and conventional training method user. From statistical analysis showed that computer selfefficacy and motivation mean of MyLearning training method user are higher conventional training method user
