Untuk dapat memunculkan kreativitas pada setiap individu perlu adanya iklim organisasi yang kondusif bagi terciptanya kreativitas. Elemen penting yang dapat menghambat ataupun merangsang kreativitas adalah persepsi individu mengenai seberapa kondusif kondisi iklim organisasi tersebut mendukung untuk menjadi kreatif. .Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Kaltim Pasifik Amoniak yang berlokasi di Bontang dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan persepsi karyawan berdasarkan status manajerial dan usia pada iklim organisasi yang mendukung untuk kreativitas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner kepada 87 karyawan direct hires, dan sebanyak 67 kuesioner dari responden dianalisis. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner KEYS (Assessing the Climate for Creativity). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan alpha cronbach, ANOVA, dan MANOVA. Hasil analisis menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan persepsi yang signifikan antara karyawan manajer dan non-manajer begitu juga antara usia tua dan muda terhadap keseluruhan iklim organisasi yang mendukung kreativitas. Sedangkan terhadap setiap dimensi iklim organisasi juga tidak terdapat perbedaan persepsi yang signifikan antara manajer dan non-manajer (kecuali dimensi freedom) serta antara usia tua dan muda. Karyawan manajer mempersepsikan dimensi iklim freedom lebih kondusif dalam memunculkan ide kreatif daripada karyawan non-manajer (operasional).
With creativity, an organization will be able to survive and keep its existence in a dynamic business environment. To be able to bring creativity to every individual, there is a need for condusive organizational climate for the creation of creativity. An important element that can inhibit or stimulate creativity is an individual's perception of how conducive climatic conditions support the organization to be creative. This research was conducted at PT Kaltim Pasifik Amoniak located in Bontang and is aimed to analyze the differences in the perceptions of managerial employees by status and age on condusive organizational climate to support creativity. Data is collected by spreading out questionnaires to 87 direct hires employees, and as many as 67 questionnaires from respondents were analyzed. Instrument used in the research is the KEYS questionnaire research (Assessing the Climate for Creativity). Data were analyzed using alpha cronbach, ANOVA, and MANOVA. The results of the analysis showed there was no significant difference in perception between managers and employees of non-managers as well as between older and younger age of the overall organizational climate that supports creativity. For each dimension of the organizational climate, there is also no significant difference in perception among managers and non-managers (except the freedom dimension) and among young and old age. Managerial employees perceive freedom dimensional climate to be more conducive to produce creative ideas than non-managerial employees (operational).
