Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi kecamatan perbatasan dengan negara lain di Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu Provinsi Kalimantan Barat 2005-2008

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi kecamatan perbatasan dengan negara lain di Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh tersebut adalah pertumbuhan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) sektor pertanian, pertumbuhan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) sektor industri pengolahan, pertumbuhan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran, rasio penduduk berpendidikan SLTA ke atas sampai perguruan tinggi, dummy perbatasan. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi kecamatan perbatasan dengan negara lain diduga dipengaruhi secara positif oleh pertumbuhan PDRB sektor pertanian, pertumbuhan PDRB sektor industri, pertumbuhan PDRB sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran, persentase penduduk berpendidikan SLTA ke atas sampai perguruan tinggi, dan Dummy perbatasan. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana. Estimasi dilakukan dengan metode Generalized Least Square (GLS), dengan memasukkan unit Common Cross Section weighting. Data yang digunakan adalah data panel yang merupakan gabungan dari data runtun waktu (time series) dan silang tempat (cross section). Sampel meliputi 5 kecamatan yang berbatasan langsung dengan negara lain dan jumlah observasi sebanyak 20. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan PDRB sektor pertanian, pertumbuhan PDRB sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran serta persentase penduduk berpendidikan SLTA ke atas sampai perguruan tinggi, berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan dan mampu menjelaskan pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Kecamatan Perbatasan dengan Negara Lain. Variabel PDRB sektor industri pengolahan dan dummy perbatasan juga mempunyai pengaruh positif tapi tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Kecamatan Perbatasan dengan Negara Lain di Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu Provinsi Kalimantan Barat.

This research aims to analyze the influencial factor of economic growth in other countries border sub-districts in Kapuas Hulu Regency of West Kalimantan Province. The influencial factor-factor of growth within Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) for agricultural sector, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) for manufacture, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) for commerce, hotel and restaurant, percentage of population with education level of High School to College, and border dummy. Hypotheses proposed in this research of growth economic in other border sub-district with other countries which allegedly influenced is positively by growth GRDP growth for agriculture sector, GRDP growth for industry , GRDP growth for commerce, hotel and restaurant, percentage of population with education level above high school (college) and border dummy is positively correlated to economic growth of Border Sub-district with other countries. The instrument used is a simple linear regression. The estimation applied by a method of Generalized Least Square (GLS), by inserting a unit of common cross section weighting. Data used is panel data which is a combination of rime series and cross section data. The sample includes five sub-districts that have the border with other countries and by the total number of observation is about 20. The result of this research show that GRDP growth for agricultural sector, GRDP growth for commerce, hotel and restaurant and percentage of population with education level above High School until College, are positively and significantly correlated and capable to explain its correlation towards economic growth of Border Sub-district with other countries. Variable of GRDP for manufacture and border dummy are also positively but insignificantly correlated to economic growth of Border Sub-district with other countries in Kapuas Hulu Regency of West Kalimantan Province.
