Respon masyarakat terhadap pembangunan pembangkit listrik tenaga minihidro Santong Kecamatan Kayangan Lombok Barat

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kondisi sosial ekonomi, tingkat pengetahuan dan respon masyarakat terhadap pembangunan PLTM. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Santong, Kecamatan Kayangan, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survai. Data primer yang digunakan mencakup: kondisi sosial ekonomi, tingkat pengetahuan dan respon masyarakat. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara terstruktur dengan 119 kepala keluarga responden. Analisa data menggunakan tabulasi silang dan uji statistik correlation product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat di lokasi penelitian secara umum dicirikan oleh masyarakat berumur dewasa (30-47 tahun), memiliki tanggungan keluarga 3 sampai 4 jiwa, berpendidikan rata-rata tamat SD, bermata pencaharian sebagai petani dan buruh tani, memiliki luas lahan <100 m2 dan berpenghasilan

This research was to study social economic condition, the level of knowledge and society’s responds to PLTM’s development. This research was held on Santong’s village, sub district of Kayangan, regency of West Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat. The method of this research was survey method. The primary data were social economic condition, the level of knowledge and people’s responds. The collecting data used structured interview using 119 of the responds of the head of house hold. The data of analysis used crossed tabulation and statistic test of correlation product moment. The result of this research showed that social economic condition of society in the location of research generally was categorized by adult people who aged 30- 47 years old, had to responsible of 3 to 4 members of his family, averagely had graduated from elementary school, primarily worked as famers and farming labor, had field of <100 m2 and had income in average of
