Hubungan tipe kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja, pelatihan karyawan dan lingkungan kerja fisik terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Fastfood Indonesia Tbk :: Studi kasus di KFC Yogyakarta

2009 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu PeternakanPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tipe kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja, pelatihan karyawan, lingkungan kerja fisik, dan kinerja karyawan serta hubungan antara tipe kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja, pelatihan karyawan, dan lingkungan kerja fisik terhadap kinerja karyawan Store KFC Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret 2009 sampai Mei 2009 di store KFC Yogyakarta dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Pemilihan store untuk penelitian dilakukan secara purposive sampling method. Store yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah empat store yaitu KFC BDNI, KFC Galleria, KFC Adi Sucipto dan KFC Ambarukmo plaza, sedangkan untuk uji validitas dan reliabilitas kuesioner dilakukan di KFC UGM. Responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil secara sensus kemudian diseleksi kelengkapan pengisian kuesioner sehingga diperoleh jumlah 76 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Chi Square, Cramer’s V dan Sperman’s Correlation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tipe kepemimpinan manajar store adalah tipe kepemimpinan suportif. Mayoritas karyawan memiliki motivasi kerja yang tinggi. Pelatihan karyawan tergolong dalam kategori sedang. Semua karyawan menilai lingkungan kerja fisik tergolong dalam kategori nyaman. Kinerja karyawan sebagian besar adalah tinggi. Kinerja karyawan memiliki korelasi dengan (P<0,01) tipe kepemimpinan, (P<0,01) pelatihan karyawan, (P<0,05) lingkungan kerja fisik; dan (P<0,10) motivasi kerja karyawan. Tipe kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja, dan lingkungan kerja fisik mempunyai tingkat korelasi yang lemah dengan kinerja karyawan, sedangkan pelatihan karyawan memiliki korelasi yang sedang dengan kinerja karyawan.
This research was aimed to analyze the leadership type, work motivation, employee’s training, physical work environment, and employee’s performance and the relationship between leadership type, work motivation, employee training, and physical work environment toward employee’s performance at Stores KFC Yogyakarta. The data were gathered from March 2009 to May 2009 in stores KFC Yogyakarta using questionnaires that had been tested for it’s validity and reliability. Stores were selected by purposive sampling method. Stores applied in this research were four stores, they were KFC BDNI, KFC Galleria, KFC Adi Sucipto and KFC Ambarukmo Plaza, while to test validity and reliability of the questionnaires in was KFC UGM. Seventy six respondents were selected by census and then by their complete questionnaires. The data were statistically analyzed using the Chi-Square, Cramer's V and Sperman's Correlation. The results showed that the leadership type of the manager of the store was supportive type. The majority of respondents had a high work motivation. The Training of the employee was classified in medium category. All employees assessed that physical work environment was classified in comfortable category. Most of the Employee’s performance was high category. Employee’s performance had a correlation (P<0.01) with leadership type; employee’s performance had a correlation (P<0.01) with employee’s training; employee’s performance had a correlation (P<0.05) with physical work environment; and employee’s performance also had a correlation (P<0.10) with work motivation. Leadership type, work motivation, employee’s training, and physical work environment had a low strength correlation with employee’s performance.
