Communication is the significant factor in health care services. Dental health care settings require communication skills and empathic understanding. The purpose of this study is to implement psychosocial model services in improving communication between dentist/dental nurse and their patients. Dentist and dental nurse who works in dental health care setting are the subjects in this study. Four primary health care services are randomly chosen into experimental and control groups. Communication between dentist/dental nurse and their patients are being observed. Results shows there are improvement in communication tasks (empathy, education, and enlistment) in experimental groups.
