Analisis pemahaman pasien tentang informed consent dan pelaksanaannya di RSU Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang :: Kajian pada pasien pasca bedah IRNA II

Latar Belakang: Persetujuan Tindakan Kedokteran merupakan hak pasien yang akan melaksanakan operasi pembedahan. Pasien berhak penuh untuk mendapatkan informasi segala sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan penyakitnya yang akan dilakukan tindakan kedokteran. Persetujuan pasien tentang tindakan kedokteran yang akan dilakukan terhadapnya selayaknya didahului dengan pemberian informasi yang lengkap dan jelas, sehingga pasien paham dan selanjutnya akan memberikan persetujuannya, yang dituangkan dalam informed consent. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemahaman pasien pasca bedah tentang informed consent dengan pelaksanaan persetujuan tindakan kedokteran Metode: Jenis Penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di Instalasi Rawat Inap II dan Instalasi Rawat Jalan Rumah Sakit Umum Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Mei 2009, dengan responden 108 orang pasien pasca bedah menggunakan kuesioner (20 pernyataan) dan check list (21 pernyataan). Analisis data menggunakan SPSS for windows versi 12. Hasil: Pasien pasca bedah memiliki pemahaman yang cukup tentang informed consent. Sedangkan pelaksanaan penjelasan tentang informed consent dari tenaga kesehatan (dokter) kepada pasien dalam kategori sedang. Namun secara administrasi dari penilaian pelaksanaan berkas rekam medik diperoleh kekuranglengkapan informed consent terutama pada pengisian waktu/jam pelaksanaan dan identitas saksi. Uji korelasi antara hubungan pemahaman pasien pasca bedah tentang informed consent dengan pelaksanaan informed consent menunjukkan koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,749 dan p value = 0,002. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan positf dan signifikan antara pemahaman pasien pasca bedah tentang informed consent dengan pelaksanaan persetujuan tindakan kedokteran, semakin paham pasien terhadap informed consent semakin baik pelaksanaan persetujuan tindakan kedokteran.

Conclusion: There positif and significant relationship between post-surgical patient understanding of informed consent with the approval of the implementation of medical action, the more understanding the patient's informed consent agreement, the better implementation of medical action.
