Aplikasi spreadsheet pada penyelesaian numerik persamaan Scrhodinger untuk sumur potensial kotak berkedalaman berhingga

Fisika Kuantum pada umumnya susah dipahami oleh siswa ataupun oleh guru dalam menyampaikan materi tersebut. Kesulitan tersebut dapat diatasi apabila abstraksi materi dapat divisualisasikan. Dalam mencapai upaya tersebut, penyelesaian sistem terikat dalam sistem kuantum diselesaikan dengan bantuan spreadsheet. Penyelesaian akhir kemudian diperhalus dengan menggunakan metode Newton-Raphson. Besaran fisis dan parameter penting lain ditentukan terlebih dahulu guna melengkapi metode penyelesaian. Hasil penentuan kemudian diformulasikan menjadi formula spreadsheet, visualisasi dari abstraksi dapat dimunculkan. Penyelesaian lengkap diperoleh dengan mengubah-ubah nilai parameter masukan. Dengan langkah tersebut, dapat ditunjukkan bahwa penggunaan spreadsheet dapat lebih memudahkan pengkajian sumur potensial kotak dari sistem kuantum. Hasil penyelesaian menunjukkan bahwa, banyaknya state dipengaruhi oleh ketinggian sumur. Semakin besar ketinggian sumur potensial maka semakin banyak cacah state terikat. Dapat ditunjukkan pula bahwa penyelesaian suatu tenaga potensial sangat besar, penyelesaian analitik kembali dapat ditemukan.

Commonly, students or teachers are difficult to to understand Quantum Physics. It such difficulty would be easier if abstraction concepts were visualized. In order to fulfill the purpose, the solutions of the bounded quantum system have been done using the spreadsheet. The intial resulting values were improved by Newton-Raphson method. Other obsevables and importan parameter were initially determined to complete the solution. The final results were formulated using spreadsheet such that the visualization of the abstraction concepts could be appeared. Finally, the complete results were obtained by changing the values of input parameter. With that steps it could be shown that the application of spreadsheet make the studying of potential well of quantum system is easier. The results showed that the number of states by the height of the well. When the potential is higher, the number of the bounded states is increase. It can also be shown that the analitycal result of infinite well potential was rediscovered when the potential was taken sufficiently high.
