Efektivitas program pelatihan Guru Peduli guna mengurangi bullying sekolah dasar

This study investigates one strategy to reduce bullying in elementary school, “Guru Peduliâ€, by way of an training for teacher. This training wanted to increase teachers’ awareness, knowledge, and skills to prevent and reduce bullying. The aim of this quasi experimental research was to test the effectiveness of “Guru Peduli†training for reducing elementary school bullying. Two elementary school were assigned to an experiment or control group. Six classes for class obeservation and six location for playground observation were observed either before and after the training. The data was analyzed with Wilcoxon Signed-Rank and Mann-Whitney test. The data showed that there was a significant difference of bullying between experimental and control school. There was also a significant bullying reduction in experimental school after the training.
