Pengaruh persepsi dukungan organisasi (perceived organizational support) dan pertukaran atasan-bawahan (leader-member exchange) terhadap komitmen organisasi di Pertamina Drilling Services Area Jawa

2009 | Tesis | S2 Magister ManajemenStudi ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari variabel bebas (persepsi dukungan organisasi dan pertukaran atasan bawahan) yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi. Persepsi dukungan organisasi dan pertukaran atasan bawahan merupakan bentuk pertukaran sosial yang penting bagi organisasi. Jika karyawan memperoleh persepsi dukungan organisasi dan pertukaran atasan bawahan meningkat maka hal tersebut akan berpengaruh terhadap komitmen organisasi. Tes pendahuluan dilakukan di Pertamina Drilling Services Area Jawa di Cirebon, dan ditemukan 1 buah pertanyaan persepsi dukungan organisasi, 4 buah pertanyaan pertukaran atasan bawahan, dan 7 buah pertanyaan komitmen organisasi yang tidak valid. Subjek penelitian adalah 120 karyawan staf lapangan Pertamina Drilling Services Area Jawa, Cirebon yang dipilih melalui metode purposive sampling. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan menggunakan software SPSS 15.0 for windows. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari variabel persepsi dukungan organisasi dan pertukaran atasan bawahan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Komitmen yang paling tinggi pada staf lapangan Pertamina Drilling Services adalah komitmen kontinuan.
This study planned to examine independent variables (perceived organizational support and leader member exchange) that significantly influence the organizational commitment. Perceived organizational support and leader member exchange are social exchange that important for the organization. Employee that got the perceived organizational support and highly leader member exchange, it would be influence the organizational commitment. Pre test conducted in Pertamina Drilling Services Java Area in Cirebon, and it was found that 1 questiont for perceived organizational support, 4 questions for leader member exchange, and 7 unvalid questions for organizational commitment. The research subjects are 120 outdoor employees of Pertamina Drilling Services Java Area, Cirebon, that had been choosen with purposive sampling method. The hypothesis was analyzed with multiple regression analysis using software SPSS 15.0 for windows. Result indicated that there is positive and significant effect from variables of perceived organizational support and leader member exchange toward organizational commitment. The highest commitment of the outdoor employees of Pertamina Drilling Services is continuance commitment.
