Analisis industri produk dengan bahan dari plastik di Indonesia

Tesis ini merupakan analisa industri khususnya pada industri produk dengan bahan dari plastik dan secara umum pada industri plastik secara keseluruhan yang mencakup industri petrokimia di Indonesia. Dimensi analisisnya mengacu pada teknik analisis industri dan pesaing yang dikembangkan oleh Michael E. Porter. Tujuan utama dari tesis ini adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor, implikasi atau pengaruhnya terhadap perkembangan industri produk pabrikan plastik di masa lalu, sekarang, dan yang akan datang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan analisa kualitatif menggunakan data-data sekunder berupa sumber-sumber informasi secara tertulis dari majalah, surat kabar, studi pustaka, internet, dan sebagainya yang relevan dengan industri plastik di Indonesia. Hasil dari analisa ini diharapkan bisa menjadi input bagi produsen, pemain baru maupun regulator dalam industri produk plastik Indonesia untuk menghadapi ancaman sekaligus peluang yang akan akan datang.

This study analyzed specially to the industry of product made by plastic and generally to the industry of plastic as a whole that covered the industry of petrochemical in Indonesia. The dimension of analysis based to techniques for analyzing industries and competitors that developed by Michael E. Porter. The main purpose of this study was to identify factors, implications or the influences to the developing of the industry of product made by plastic in a past, present, and future time. This study conducted with qualitative data as written secondary information sources taken from magazine, news paper, literature study, internet, etc, that relevant to the industry of plastic as a whole in Indonesia. The result of this study becomes an input expectation to the existing players, new entrants, and regulatory institution to the plastic industry of Indonesia toward the future challenges and threats.
